Yeah it was….. the teams hated each other…. Free agency wasn’t rampant….the rules allowed players to play defense….Analytics hadn’t made the game into a three point shooting contest yet….there were no such thing as flagrant fouls…. It was an extremely fun era.

Bennett is the college Trent Dilfer. Let the defense carry him to a championship and didn’t get in they way.

I can't remember when "Likes" were added to VN but there were a lot of older members who had trash post/like ratios because the majority of their posts were from before the "Like" era

The thing is it probably won't even come down to our game.

We have Bama and LSU and they have Ole Miss and Miss St lolol. 2 teams that don't know what defense is.

We could beat them and still lose 2nd place due to their poor *** schedule. As goes the folly of comparing us and them.
