Yeah, I'm not really feeling sorry for a guy who didn't have the good sense to check his closet for skeletons prior to becoming a public figure. You have to assume some responsibility for the dumb crap that past you did or at least have the good sense to sweep it under the rug.
The good news is that he'll recover. He owned it. It'll die in a couple of days.
And as long as his SO/9 rate is over 16 and he's a lefty it won't affect his career in the least.
Yeah, I would argue Dooley and Butch took over worse rosters. That's not to say this roster is good, but I think it's better than they had in year 1.
when you account for where the program is roster wise, where our opponents are and where our fanbases expectations are.
I think this is spot on. Based on what we saw on the field, not potential.
Now, JP has come in and changed some positions, changed weight, changed attitudes, etc.
Lets see if it translates to wins on the field.
He has the chance to change the narrative but for me what is stated above is spot on until we step on the field.
There has been tougher rebuilds at Tennessee specifically in the last decade alone
Yeah I'm not expecting a national championship or anything. But I'm not setting the bar way low based on last year's embarrassment of a coaching job.
To be honest I have no bar. I'm just looking for us to be mean and rough some teams up. Hope we can close out some wins along the way.
