I'm just saying it will take longer than one offseason to wash the stink of Jones off this team, and undo the damage done to players minds and bodies. I don't care anything about being able to say I told you so later and you know that.

I just hope nobody, including myself, loses their minds when we look like garbage sometimes this year. Unfounded expectations have a way of doing that to fanbases and it is poisonous. Cubelic was not far off whith what he said. It may have been slightly hyperbolic...BUT...4-8.

I have a very hard time understanding why the media loves Schiano so much, and thinks we are awful for not wanting that garbage for a coach. I hate them for that. If you could erase all the PSU stuff...I still would have hated that hire. I would never have supported him. He is a garbage coach and we deserve better, especially after all these years of putrid head coaches we have endured.

I think it's doable as long as we have no rash of injuries to key players..I think we could go anywhere from 5-7 if we have our usual luck, to 8-4 depending on things going good for a change. I think the margin for error is extremely small in all the tossup games...with a team full of guys who don't know isht anout how to win...hence my apprehension. It will be fascinating to watch regardless, and I am proud of the guys for accepting the challenge and staying the course.

Exactly. I think most of us sane folks think we start about 2-6 and try to win last 4 to get to a bowl.

I wonder if other folks who think we struggle to get to 6 would appreciate being associated with yer idea of sanity. :eek:lol:
