I was in love with FUENTE no S.

But yea I think schinao would have been good here. Similar personality to Pruitt

This.

Why don’t you think anyone else tried to hire him? Heck OSU made the OC interim head coach when Urban was suspended.

I’m pretty sure you and Hank are in a battle for the dumbest poster in here.

No need to rehash this but the Debacle with us has made him unhirebale. That's clear

It's an extremely misleading stat.

We're around #70 in offensive efficiency, which is the much better measure of offensive productivity. The problem with 'total offense' and 'total yardage' is that it rewards teams that play fast, up-tempo styles, even if those styles are inefficient. And I think Pruitt has been deliberately slowing down some of our games due to our issues with defensive depth (see the Charlotte game where we ran something like 48 plays total). So while our offense hasn't been great, those 'total offense' type of stats make it look much worse than it really is.

(Btw, our defensive efficiency has been climbing rapidly.)

One site has us at ~80. For comparison, they rated last year's efficiency at #120. So yeah we are definitely better than last year even though total offense makes this year's team look similar stat-wise to last year's.

Speaking of Mizzou's TE, one of their posters told me that he's dealing with a likely shoulder separation and he that he is doubtful for the game.

I'm not sure if this is the play, but on the Jeremy Pruitt show, after one play he commented that he was very upset with the play call when it happened, but later realized it was a good call. That's why he doesn't call the plays.

He was talking about the end around sweep with Murphy on the CJP show. This one he wanted to run the clock out and wasn't happy that the clock stopped (plus dang near got intercepted for a pick 6.) The Chandler run is what changed the script at the half from going to clock run out to hey let's see if we can get some points.

Is this true? I tried finding info on their injury situation because I heard they were banged up, and all I saw was that he was a game time decision vs Vandy.

But not an elite recruiter and does not have the HS connections in the Southeast, nor do I think he would have been able to put together a staff of elite recruiters with connections in the Southeast.

I can agree with that. He does have much more experience but it isn't worth talking about now

We all can agree we are at least encouraged by what is going on on the Hill right now

What are you basing that off of though? Because his on the field results say otherwise. I'll agree the east hasn't been good, but they still won the conference last year and beat one heck of an Oklahoma team in the playoffs. They were a 3rd and 25 or whatever it was from being the defending national champion as well.

2016:
TN- L
Ole miss- L blowout
FL- L
Aub- W

2017:
ND - W
FL- W Blowout
Aub- L blowout
Aub (SCCG) - W *keryon Johnson was hurt*
Okla- W
Ala- L

2018:
FL- W (Mullen first year debatable roster)
LSU- L blowout
Aub- W

So in 13 games so far where i would say a Kirby team didn’t have a for sure talent advantage he has lost 6 of those... I definitely don’t think he is a bad coach by any means but he doesn’t scare me at all. Especially not with Chaney as OC. I could be wrong going forward but i will take my chances on Pruitt and Mullen over him now that they have comparable programs.
