Well..in his defense, if the play was there and uncovered, and the players screwed up the execution by dickfiddling around..then it is on them for fudging it up...then again he should never have called it in that situation to start with.

I think an argument could be made to put them 5th due to schedule and lack of conference championship game. They certainly shouldn't be 3rd though IMO

Notre Dame is the worst team in the final four, but they’ve played enough P5 to deserve to be there. Michigan wasn’t quite the same team when they beat them, but they still have some good wins. I think they get stomped by whoever they play though.

They need to join the ACC or Big Ten already. If they were oppo Mich and OSU it would make for a much more exciting Big Ten Championship game each year that’s for sure.

There’s this brand new thing called “time outs” that head coaches can use to stop players from being the victims of...dickfiddling? Boom. Punt it to the 5 yard line and play for overtime.

McClendon, moore 4th
Scott, Stocker, Crompton 5th.

I would gladly take
Nick Reveis, Rico McCoy (3x All SEC), Lamarcus Thompson
Over
Kirkland, Bituli, Sapp

And while I like our freshman corners better than Rogan, Evans, Gordon etc. that team had berry on the back end so the secondary is automatically better imo.

I honestly don’t think the rosters are even comparable but it’s akways fine to disagree.

Glaring holes on that team though, especially at DE, corner, and OL. UCLA is the one game we really should have won.

Is there a scenario that ND will drop out? 1,2,4,5 and 6 all have Conference Championships they had to play in. ND refuses to join a conference in football. IMO that extra conference game should matter in body of work.
