Is there a scenario that ND will drop out? 1,2,4,5 and 6 all have Conference Championships they had to play in. ND refuses to join a conference in football. IMO that extra conference game should matter in body of work.

And while I like our freshman corners better than Rogan, Evans, Gordon etc. that team had berry on the back end so the secondary is automatically better imo.

I honestly don’t think the rosters are even comparable but it’s akways fine to disagree.

I don’t want to keep arguing and like you said it’s perfectly fine to disagree, but some of those pros were very poor evals.

I will say Berry and Williams were studs and Janzens potential was sky high. Montario prob should have had more carries before that season as he looked fantastic as lead back.

In addition to Callaway and JJ, I could see one of the DL sneaking in the draft in the right system.

Bama was running roughshod on them all game..it's late...the defense is wore out..and a fresh fast Hurts is almost untouchable..

Yeah...I can understand the thought...but..that thought should have been discarded by down and distance to start with, and timeout called as soon as Bama covered the play..

So record matters in determining the 4 best teams? If thats the case UCF should be in the playoffs...which i dont agree with. Should you not take into account the games lost and who they were to? Personally i think its Bama, Nd ,Clemson and OSU

Oklahoma beat 3 ranked teams. Georgia beat 3 ranked teams. Georgia lost twice. OU has a better argument. Georgia didnt win their conference. OU did.

Glaring holes on that team though, especially at DE, corner, and OL. UCLA is the one game we really should have won.

I don’t think you can say OL was a “glaring hole” when we had 2 NFL (would’ve been 3 with Douglas), and a 1300+ yard rusher in Hardesty. People get caught up in the twins size but they really weren’t that bad.

I’ll give you corner, even tho i liked rogan but they had berry to cover their asses. Same thing with DE. Walker was ok but they had dan Williams commanding a double in the middle.

Yup. If we’re not gonna put the best teams in and base it off record like ppl on here are suggesting, let’s put UCF in. We all know if UT was in uga’s shoes every fan on here would be saying we’re a top 4 team and deserve the playoffs.

It’s not like osu and ou have dominated every they’ve played. They’ve struggled and haven’t looked great all season

But the fact that fans of the team say it is irrelevant. Of course they're going to say it. But that doesn't mean they're right and everyone else should agree with them.
