The thing is Clemson and Tennessee were running nearly identical offenses under Watson and Dobbs. They even used plays from our game against Bama in that season's title match. I think Tennessee could've tweaked that just as easily as Clemson had we retained Debo.

personally I doubt that’s true since he went after Dormady. said Butch sent him and another’s QB (I believe Emory Jones but don’t remember) a text saying how they’re the future of the program and the best QB and the only QB they were interested in. Turns out they were both sitting next to each at the time they received the texts. Who knows if that’s true tho

Came down to how Butch treated him & his family versus how Dabo did.

The bigger botch was Tee Higgins & Hunter Johnson. Since both of them would have played the last 2 seasons.

His North Texas offense has been top 20 in the nation each of the last three years. Mike Leach coaching tree. Has coached QB’s and WR’s. I say not too shabby.
