making fun of chaney's weight is not original nor funny. it's dumb
We should just have one thread where people could post fat Chaney jokes for say....a week...then, they are no longer allowed. Same with Fulmer KK/Shoneys jokes and pix.
Let people get it out of their systems. Then, we move on.
And, yes, this is coming from a primary jokester on the site.

Yeah cause nobody repeats jokes for years around here. That idea may earn you the valid Victorian award.

With his new contract he just became Jim Cha-chingey. Screw all the fat jokes.

I hope Pruitt allows Chaney to do what he wants. I trust Chaney will put our best athletes in position to win matchups. I have a feeling we will probably be a lil pass heavy year one unless the OL gets a lot better very quickly

I agree with most of this. Just not sure I’d use the term good job in regards to our OL in any facet except recruiting right now.

Friend walked into a really crappy situation with our OL and the results weren’t good in 2018, but the jury’s still out on how well he’s doing here, IMO.

How he’s able to bring along the guys in year two and get some of the young talent we sign ready to contribute will tell us a lot more than anything we saw from that 2018 OL. Friend does have a track record of developing units to take big strides forward each season, though, so there is definitely some reason for optimism there and I agree that a change at OL coach right now most likely wouldn’t be for the best.
I will never understand why people think a guy forgets how to coach overnight. It is obvious when the problem is not the coach..

This makes us immediately relevant in the east imo. Not the favorite or anything crazy like that. But relevant. Hurts ability to get out of the pocket negates our biggest weakness on offense and gets us a run game.

Cannot be overstated how big of a difference a guy like hurts can have both when you consider what he brings from a football standpoint and then also what having a senior winner at that position can do to lead a group that has had so many bad things happen

Hard pass on hurts.

I like who we have.

I love who we got coming.
Bailey is as legit as i have seen.
Last year in a playoff game against a secondary at North Gwinnett that has a cb to Michigan, cb to Tennessee, a safety to Nebraska and a linebacker now at Iowa, he threw for well over 300 yards and 3 or 4 touchdowns.

I'm not into predicting starters, but many said the same thing about KC. I bet you were one of them.

I thought KC would have a good chance at beating JG out. I also thought the coaches wouldn’t have brought him in if they were sold on JG at that point

But to compare KC and jalen hurts is completely ridiculous

That’s great. But hurts has one year left so why is bailey relevant? Did he reclassify? Even if he did not sureness it’d impact his decision

I’m still on board with JG. He has deficiencies but they are all things that good coaching and better offensive line play can fix.

Also hasn’t it been stated many times over that the team loves him? I’ll take that all day

And every time someone comes on here wanting another QB it reminds me how often they said the same thing about Dobbs, until early his senior year.

Edit: NB4 SCvol33 doesn't agree, thus saying it's ridiculous comparing Dobbs to JG, once again totally missing the point.

Not a real account.
