Average SEC secondary: 10-11 wins.

The secondary from today: 8-9 wins.

Tim Banks and Willie Martinez need to spend the rest of the weekend soul searching and figure something out.

I can't put it all on the players. I just can't imagine they aren't being told to give these massive cushions. Playing like every WR has Covid mixed with bubonic aids.

AR mostly profited from uncalled holding penalties on every throw. The funniest one involved one Gator holding from the front and a second from behind (four hander!). Even with that, and with 2 of our TDs taken off the scoreboard (!), we beat him without Tillman or Sampson.

We all said to focus on shutting down the run and make Richardson beat us with his arm. Which we did. Richardson had a great game and now people are talking about how bad Banks was for not stopping Richardson.

A lot of people were complaining about not playing man, those same people would be really pissed if Richardson ran all over us instead of passing. Zone allowed us to keep Richardson from running wild.

I think sometimes we mistake people being miserable after a win for pointing out what needs to be worked on. Defense didn’t look good, but it’s my opinion it wasn’t as bad as some think. We pretty much gave up what Florida averages, that’s a step in the right direction imo thinking about how bad our d was last year. Pass rush is there, I think our play calling is a little suspect though.
I’m enjoying this win, hell 2 out of 18 speaks for itself.

I’m not going to lie. I was sweating it at the end but a win over Florida I will never apologize about. We were up big and tried to run the clock out and still left a ton of points out there. (Fumble by fant, Hooker missing Warren in the second quarter, etc).

This team won because their head coach is not fazed by the flows of the game and has them believing. Great crowd today.
