Per Rob Lewis:

Wouldn't say that this is absolutely a completely done deal yet, but hearing today that Vescovi has made the decision to return.
Again, there could be a last minute change of plans but that's what I'm hearing as of this afternoon and wanted to pass along since it's obviously a topic of interest for many.
NCAA Champs 2024!!!

I played competitive basketball into my late 40s. Pretty Holly isn't a coach. She'll get you a sweet 16 but no further. She needs great players to overcome her lack of coaching ability. Unfortunately her recruiting is subpar.

How I envision this...

FYI, I'm a professional coach for under 8 youth driveway bball team. Aint nobody command 'spect like this Dad.

Was just holding on for dear life in front of the tv before heading to a concert venue we last went to (with the same friends) the night we broke the UF curse.

In fact I only changed my mind and decided to go the week of because I thought maybe the 4 of us at that place was good luck.

Turns out...it sure is. Going there this Fall the night of the UGA game and dragging every one of their asses there... and idc if it's open or not 😅🤣

APRIL 18.............

Not many "good' things have happened in history on my birthday:confused:

* 1902 Guatemala earthquake kills about 2,000
* 1904 San Francisco earthquake destroys most of the city
* University of Alabama was founded..

Best I could find:

April 18th, 1945, Pete Gray made his MLB debut and went 1-4.

Baseball is a difficult game to play well for those with two good arms but Pete Gray did it with one. Gray played only one season in the major leagues, 1945, but that was enough to have a lasting positive influence on people with disabilities. His accomplishment enlightened those of us who are perfectly formed, too —and it redefined how we view people with disabilities. Gray’s feel-good story was cathartic to a war-torn country, especially to disabled servicemen returning from World War II. His achievement was due to his incredible focus and determination. Gray became famous, but he was also “manipulated by club owners as well as by the media, maligned by many of his teammates, and left to wonder just how good a player he really was.”1 He deferred praise for his bravery to soldiers who had served on the battlefield. Gray spent his later years in obscurity and poverty and he would later say that he hadn’t done enough, given the opportunities he had, to help disabled people. There was one youth, however, Nelson Gary Jr., a 3-year-old, whom Gray met and befriended, and the two became forever linked by the coincidence of losing their right arms.
My birthday too.

I know folks have talked about Deltron in here before. I just found Event 2. Have been listening to 3030 for years. Had no idea there was a second album. Love it.
get in the game, bru.

And Automator. Had a chance to see them in Asheville in 2011.🤦🏼‍♂️ Missed opportunities.

Same for Jerry Garcia in 1994..

And the Band with Garth Hudson and Rick Danko in 97 or 98.

Granted Del is still playing. I dont think he tours much anymore, he's gotten older. Same for Yasin Bey.

And once again...I hate it because it is not a true fair competition between legitimate golf folks trying to start a real professional golf venture...the Saudis are not trying to make money...they are trying to buy respectability by throwing stupid money at big names that they had no part in developing to play a freaking stupid format that us not real...OWGR agrees, that is why the sellouts get no ranking points for their stupid gimmick 🦬💩 joke tournaments.
Didn't the Eagles just throw stupid money at Hurts------stupid money is everywhere in sports

Is they a more annoying fan base & teams in all sports more annoyin than LSU?

Speaking of that, I would counter with Arkansas. Good lord, these people are obsessed with hating UT.

Got into a war of words with one on the bird app after they, of course, decide to blow up UT’s social media after the baseball series. This dude is convinced not only is Fayetteville a better city than Knoxville, but Arkansas is a better state than TN.

Am I just a TN homer, or is Knoxville pretty easily a top 3 SEC city and TN is pretty easily one of the top 4 SEC states (behind Florida, Texas and Georgia)?

It's been done. Everybody's been waiting for Santi to announce his news his way.
