I don’t believe that for a second. He doesn’t like to lose , and he knows exactly why we lost to SC and UGA.

I don’t think most people know how competitive CJH is with everything from football, bowling to kickball. CJH hates losing. Case in point. CJH was pissed at UTM’s coach Simpson and them not giving Tennessee a shot at recruiting his son Ty. Now look at the game this year against UTM. One if not the only trick plays that we had this year was Fant’s halfback pass to Hyatt for a touchdown. There was no need for that already up 30, but he called it anyway. I just laughed when it was run. Then scoring late in the game when a kneel down would have been what most coaches would do. I think CJH is so competitive that he is pissed at the UGA and USCjr games that he will want to get better and improve the defense, but not at the cost of losing incoming freshman, losing kids to the portal or upsetting team chemistry.

If he’s solely focused on offense then yes, yes offense can be our sole focus.

Are y’all high or have you already forgotten that we were 1 win away from the 4 team playoff? In Y2. When nobody expected it. By putting up video game numbers on offense.

The hand-wringing is crazy. Good thing CH isnt looking to the RF for input on portal takes. Just sit back and let it play out—our coaches are better at this than we are.

So weird... My wife's grandmother, 98, suffering from dimentia, was moved in to transition at hospice yesterday after becoming unresponsive Sunday night and taken too the er. Also my wife's last grandparent, and she's taken it pretty hard as well. Prayers sent.

Very sad day losing Mike Leach.

I've always loved the game of football. Personally, I wasn't any good at it. I tried to fit into the typical mold in HS but honestly, I really wanted to play in the band and snow ski. I feel like he opened up a role into football for those who didn't fit the prototypical football player or fan such as myself. He will be missed.

It took me a moment to remember the name from the commercials and I only remembered because my grandmother used to get me to do the Jitterbug with her as a young child. By the time I remembered, it was more entertaining watching them flounder around for the name than to say it. It wasn't much longer before my wife thought she had the name, LOL.

Mike Leach was such a person, that even being the head coach at Mississippi State, Ole Miss fans don't hate him. Washington fans didn't hate him. As far as I'm aware, Texas fans didn't hate him.

Can you imagine a University of Florida or Alabama coach that we don't hate? That we enjoy watching interviews of and kinda like seeing him win?

I can't. Unless it was Mike Leach at those places.
