The Most Underachieving Tennessee Football Teams - Rocky Top Talk
Interesting blog post. Most disappointing Vols teams of the last 25 years. Man, as time goes on you start to realize just how many of the starters on our 2012 team may get drafted or at least end up on an NFL roster. What a waste.
I've been traveling and had to catch up over the last day and a half...
This thread went from discussing:
Jimmy Frank's alleged involvement in the rape case...
to gray hair...
to the QB race...
to Donald Sterling...
to racism...
to a fairly uncomfortable conversation about racism...
to pictures of Jameis Winston holding crab legs...
I mean...yeah. Just effing weird in here today.
Dancing gorillas and a crying baby? Yep, they have a home here, apparently.![]()
Other than the uncomfortable one about racism which I could've done without - it's been wild but interesting so why not dancing gorillas + a baby. That said, it's kinda like being at a pub where everyone is the entire pub is a part of one big conversation and while some conversations you'd rather not hear the rest of it keeps you coming back and engaged.

Racism is a conscious choice one makes. When my son was small a man I barely knew had come to work for my company. He needed to be in my area for a meeting and then he and I were going to travel some while I trained him. He was black and was shocked when I told him he could stay with us instead of spending money on a motel/hotel. It was a great opportunity to let my son know right away that there would be zero racism in our house. Over the years when I thought my son might be headed down that path I have tried to steer him to treating all equal. He now works at a job where he is always being complimented by how fair and equal he treats everyone. There will probably always be racism but we can make a difference. Small actions can do a lot in others lives.
