Apparently we started offensive walkthroughs today in a 2-tight set with a fullback. Looked a little something like this:

QB: Justin Worley
RB: Marlin Lane
FB: Joe Stocstill
TE: Ethan Wolf, Daniel Helm
WR: Marquez North
OL: Jacob Gilliam, Marcus Jackson, Mack Crowder, Kyler Kerbyson, Coleman Thomas

This just made my freaking day. Somewhere out there, Chavisut is nodding in agreement.

The complete lineup of one-on-one battles follows:

Josh Malone beat Riyahd Jones

Emmanuel Moseley defended Ryan Jenkins

Jason Croom went high for a catch over D'Andre Payne

Josh Smith easily worked past Malik Foreman for six

Von Pearson snagged a back-shoulder pass over Cam Sutton

Justin Coleman defended North

Johnathon Johnson was defended by Michael Williams

Brian Randolph picked off a pass intended for Wolf

Alex Ellis scored against Devaun Swafford

Todd Kelly Jr. defended Daniel Helm

Brendan Downs scored against Evan Berry

A.J. Johnson overpowered and threw down A.J. Branisel

LaDarrell McNeil defended Alex Ellis

Ethan Wolf shook Curt Maggitt for a scoring catch

Daniel Helm scored against Lemond Johnson

Jennings with the keeper up the middle for 8 yards and 6 points.
4/4 106 yards passing
4 rushes 25 yards 2 TDS

You may have said this before and I missed it, but does Jennings look like he's improving at the QB position? Thanks for the updates.

Still can't believe Cowherd said that. It's like the thing I want to say every day to everybody I talk football with, but I always feel like a lunatic for thinking it.

Maybe there are more cracks in Bama's armor that we don't know about yet??

Maybe he's just fishing for attention. Probably.

But he could have said anybody. He could have said he thought Ole Miss would beat Bama. Or Miss State. Or West Virginia. But no. He said Tennessee for some reason. Cause he probably realizes, like a lot of us that follow closely already have that Butch Jones is a boss. Yeah it's a long shot. But unlike most in the media, he's not petrified of making a bold prediction because he might be wrong.

Gah I hate Alabama. So I love the prediction, if nothing else, than for getting under their disgusting leathery dimpled skin.

Vols BEEEUUUTCH

I actually think the gumps are going to take a step back this year. The main reason being the loss of Mr. Katherine Webb.
