He could have easily said how upset he was that he was not being allowed to play and felt lied to ... You make your point. He took it beyond too far and is now paying for it. Temper your actions with Wisdom.

Put that in perspective of great talent leaving the program or 'quitting' & being 'to soft'

Sad fact is JJ doesn't need TN. TN needed him. He just told a sh*tty employer to shove it and can now enter the league as a UFA a year early. He'll get a decent shot to be a pro and I wish him well.

InVol probably already saw it in the Gruden thread but if you believe "Bubba" is legit. His twitter status or w/e it's called now reads some weird symbols that's apparently Anglo Saxon and when put in a translator it reads Gruden to the hill Sunday.

By all reports he basically quit after his injury. Maybe those rumors are wrong, but you can't just stop showing up for weeks and then show up whenever you feel like it.

Butch was using "Jauan will be back next year", among other things, to try to justify another year. You can get back from a broken wrist in 6-8 weeks in some cases. So I don't think Butch Jones is above holding the guy out for his own personal gain.

I don't think any of us could name one player who's ever lambasted his coaches publicly that severely and didn't get kicked off

The action was taken against his own team/coaches. If someone committed a crime against their team or coaches, they wouldn't survive that either.
