If Currie pulls off a good hire/announcement in the next 24-48 hours, this will go down as one of the best HC searches ever. Considering the impact of social media and the proliferation of 24 hour news, it is next to impossible to keep any prominent announcements under wraps. There is almost a leak of some sorts. But, up to this point, the vast majority are still left guessing.

I for one do not care who is coach , the only thing that matters is whoever is coaching places a priority to be dominant on both lines of scrimmage. What has made Auburn better this year? A dominant d line. Year in and year out Bama has outstanding play from its lines. Clemson has been ominant its last 2 years on the d line..Lets win the lines of scrimmage please

Yeah, I don’t know why but I have that feeling too. None of the “turned down by this guy, rejected by that guy, etc.” It doesn’t feel like we’re moving down a list. It feels like we’ve just been waiting to make the announcement.

Outside of Saban and Meyer, I honestly can't think of a guy I'd rather have than Chris Petersen. Probably one of the top 3 or 4 coaches in the game. Would be insane if we got that dude.
