No. We have backstory with Kiffin. But at this point, I'd consider Petrino. He wouldn't shy away from the job, we could get a good deal and he'd be intensely motivated to win in the SEC. Bring in a GM to oversee compliance, add a stringent moral turpitude clause to his contract and we've mitigated risk.

Everybody loves a redemption story, but JoeyFresh ain't redeemed yet.I get the argument against it but Lane screwed up and took his dream job that ended up being a nightmare.
He is one of the 5 best offensive minds in all of football.
He turned FAU around that went 3-9 last 3 years and they didnt lose a conference game.
Kiffin would kill to beat Nick Saban and there arent many coaches that would relish that chance like Kiffin.
Hes grown up and sure hes a risk but the reward if it works ends with him having a statue.
I am tired of reading this doom and gloom nonsense. All we need to do is win a few games and no one will remember this. I watched a puff piece on penn state a few weeks ago and no one remembers the bama coaching debacle presaban
I really just dont understand why Currie (or the Haslams) will be allowed to hire our coach still. I really think theres about to be a colossal backlash from boosters, season ticket holders, and merchandise sales.

Curious to why you think Kirby was better suited to be head coach?
I have no idea what their assets are in that area.
