He had just been fired for underachieving for a number of years and could be hired without paying a buyout.

Guys, I've just about lost my give-a-damn. Time for the VolTwitter is over. All that happens is UT fans are made to look like the bad guys. The only way to fix this is people turning in their season tickets. They need to bankrupt this AD. Football is king and they are destroying it. Destroy football and you destroy UT athletics. I make the pledge here to not spend one penny on UT. I've already have my BB tickets or I would turn those back. If you really want to make change, quick supporting this crapfest. You do that and Currie's $5MIL buyout will be peanuts.

It's sad that it has come to this but it's the only option.

I've had this rattling around my head since Sunday, but foolishly hoped they might actually stumble into something decent.

Since they haven't...I'm assuming everyone that is a TN Fund donor gets the yearly 'gift' packet. Its been a plastic license plate for the last several years. Maybe they only give them to the low level peons like myself, but I'd say there are a lot of us Mountaineer ($2500) and below donors.

I got my packet about a week ago. I'm considering mailing the plate back to them with a calmly and appropriately worded note explaining why my donation will no longer be coming in. I'm thinking a lot of us need to do that.

Either that, or figure out someway to collect them and provide a visual representation of what they are losing.
