247 showing no love in listing 9 who could challenge Dylan Moses for #1 ranking.
10 candidates to challenge for No. 1 in 2017
Keep doubting

No doubt Iona
Also, I think it's ridiculous that Mahoney still makes more than Coach G and Coach Z even after the raises
Is the top player out of TN this year Joejuan Williams? No really big names this year I guess like Richmond, Hurd, or Malone?
We entered the 2014 season with a combined 6 starts on the offensive line.
The 2015 OL will start the season with 64 combined starts. In addition, the 2014 offensive line had 63 combined appearances in games, while the 2015 offensive line will have 154 appearances.
I didn't realize that. I thought I saw that Coach G & Z got most of the 250k. I would guess that after a year as recruiting cord, Coach G will be in line for another big bump next year. As good of a coach ZA is, I would like to see some real production from the unit as a whole this year. Its obvious that all the players love him, but hopefully they stay healthy and that unit blows up this season.
They have a nice advantage with in-state talent in that LA kids tend to be pretty loyal to LSU and a lot of them are actually from Baton Rouge.
That's true. Just a very interesting strategy that G is taking. Maybe he can pull some top recruits out of LA this year or next. And maybe there's a flux of talent coming out of the high schools that are willing to leave LA. I'd be very happy with some LSU talent on our team.
I'd have felt better if they improved over the year. They didn't. Except for the bowl I guess, but Iowa just sucked.

They did improve, but it's hard to improve significantly when you're in the middle of a season and dealing with guys getting shuffled around due to injuries.
The most important part about those numbers is that outside of the freshman OL and Raulerson, everyone has at least some in-game experience and most have starting experience.
Jackson, Kerbyson, and Crowder are legitimate SEC veterans at this point as well. They may not be great, but it doesn't hurt to have 3 guys with anywhere from 20-40 starts each.
Looks like it is confirmed:
Gators offensive lineman Roderick Johnson's career at UF cut short - Carter’s Corner - GatorZone.com
Goldkamp is reporting it on 247 as well.
they wont be worse. Plus it didnt help that Worley was standing back there for half the season. And it didnt help that our WRs were all banged up. UFs situations is awful. UT, LSU, Mizzou, Ole Miss and UGA's D Lines will destroy them. I know Ivey will probably have to start but he weighs like 270-275lbs right now. UTs OL prob wont be great but it wont be as bad as last season.
If you have XM radio or SEC Network, listen/watch Paul Finebaum right now. 5 callers in the row (UGA/FL fans) calling hating on Paul because he said Tennessee could be a contender in the East. It's pretty funny.
EDIT: 6
It's amazing how so many fans assume that a down period for a major program like Tennessee means it will NEVER be relevant again. I mean, opposing fans who don't believe that the Vols are doomed to suck forever are in the extreme minority.
The only ones who recognize that we're on the way up are Gamecocks fans, and that's only because we've beat them twice in a row.
