No way he was getting off even with all the circumstantial evidence. AH probably pulled the trigger but if he wasn't a celebrity he would have walked. State case was weak on all fronts...evidence, witnesses and no clear motive.
The double murd trial will be over pretty quickly with all the evidence they have gathered.
Not many "Bubbas" in prison are going to be able to take an elite athlete that's 6'1" and 250 lbs and has a penchant for murdering people.
HG is right. According to everything I have read, the evidence they had on Hernandez for the first murder was circumstantial at best.
They have him dead to rights in the double murder trial, though.
He won't ever see the outside of a jail again. And he shouldn't.
Unless he has some people on the inside, or gets hooked up with some people quickly, it won't matter. You're thinking of a one on one scenario, which is not what will happen.
