Agreed.

He HAS to win this year, though. The "great recruiter, bad coach" label seems to be the consensus among other fanbases for him already, even though he did give Tennessee its first bowl win since 2008 and first winning season since 2009.

I think he has out coached many. Lack of depth and talent yet Georgia has squeaked by 2 years in a row.

Today has been a great day and I had to send a fat check to the IRS

This does indeed make tax day better...now if I could just designate where my tax dollars go (can do that with charitable donations...) it would take some of the pain outta paying taxes. :salute:

Just sent $2,000 using their online direct pay system. Probably low-balled it but whatever.

Sad thing is that's only my tax burden for 1/4 of the year.

What're you thinking? Losses at Bama and who?

I got us losing to Bama, UGA, OU, and Arky. I think we beat Florida. Yeah I said it...

Honestly, I wasn't even trying to predict specific outcomes, more just a sense of the overall strength of the team and a reasonable expectation based on depth. Our 1s can run with anyone for a while, but we don't have the depth to weather many injuries and still compete at the top.

On the other hand, given Butch's love of EEs and an apparent tendency to offer EEs very selectively, I think our young guys end up game ready faster. Bray was an EE and looked pretty good when finally got the nod. I think QD would be similarly effective if he had to replace Dobbs. First year Dobbs, didn't instill near the confidence that QD will, due in large part to not being an EE.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised with anything from an injury induced 7-5 to a Cinderella 10-2. Gut tells me 8-4 or 9-3, but I am happy to be wrong to the low side.

I really think 3 years from now people will be mentioning Butch Jones as one of the top 5 or 6 active coaches in the country. He's building an army. That is perfectly clear. It's just a matter of time now before we bust through and start demolishing people. If not this year then definitely next. We are headed straight towards becoming one the most talented teams in the country.

We're not building around one star player that gives us a chance at a dream season. This is how you build a sustainable dynasty that lasts a decade.

We coming.

Go big orange forever.

Maybe in 30 years we see Butch laughing in an interview, saying, "What people don't know is that, back in the 2015 off-season, we had a guy secretly going around the country paying off sportswriters to write all these outrageous predictions and budding dynasty pieces, and the hype storm that came out of that snowballed into those #1 recruiting classes that actually built our dynasty. So we actually wrote our own history in advance."

So you medical peeps and I know there's a lotta you here... It's totally normal for a giant pump knot looking thing to suddenly show up on the knee I thought had healed up, right? I mean it only really shows in an obvious way when I bend it.

Agreed, but no UGA fan will admit that, despite them having a decided talent advantage.

I actually take the fact that other fans seem intent on dogging Jones and his record here as a sign that they're getting their jabs in while they can. With the talent he's building, he will have to be a monumentally bad coach to not start competing for the East every year.

Is it hard or soft Like fluid around the knee? NB4 twss

Could be a ruptured bursa sac. The bursa sac contains synovial fluid.

I sat in front of a USCE fan 2 years ago in Knoxville. Those fans were scared before the game. He said multiple times that Butch will own the SEC.

Soft fluid. I had what I'm about 90 percent sure was a minor meniscus injury and thought it had healed so I chanced the stairs the past two days.

Game of Thrones as SEC coaches, let's hear what you've got. I'll start with:

Nick Saban: Tywin Lannister. Rich, practical, brutal

Gus Malzhan: Lord Varys. Always scheming.

Same thing Manning had his Senior year going into the Bowl game.
