Same thing Manning had his Senior year going into the Bowl game.

Great. I'm gonna embarrass UT against Nebraska because I'm injured and Nebraska is chemically enhanced. :banghead2:

Seriously, I'm surprised he played on it.

Game of Thrones as SEC coaches, let's hear what you've got. I'll start with:

Nick Saban: Tywin Lannister. Rich, practical, brutal

Gus Malzhan: Lord Varys. Always scheming.

Fulmer was Robert Baratheon.
Richt is Nedd Stark.
Hugh Freeze is Littlefinger.
Butch is Tyrion. Short, underestimated, but finna be running things.

I can tell y'all are basing a lot of this on the show which is pretty true to the books but not completely. :)

Oh and Ned Stark is wayyyy too cool to be Richt.

I was going to read them until Martin basically confirmed that the TV show will end the series before the books do.

I'll be interested to see how they differ. Books offer a lot more detail and a few events happen different ways so far. I'd say at this point the show is more enjoyable than the books though.

Shows how badly they wanted JG if they have to go the salty route rather than trumpeting the qb they got today.

I've been trying to catch up on the books. In book 2 right now.

You'll love them. There's much more character development and backstory. The books are also more brutal. It's just much more rich, imo. I've heard that HBO will be different in terms of Jon Snow's origins but that's not the only thing.

When you're done don't miss the novellas!

Under the Tales of Dunk and Egg (so far) are:

The Hedge Knight
The Sworn Sword
The Mystery Knight

Then there's:
The Princess and the Queen, or, the Blacks and the Greens
(Just look for the The Princess and the Queen)

AND:

The Rogue Prince, or, the King's Brother
(Likewise just look for The Rogue Prince).

Pretty much all of these are published in anthologies and take place well before GoT BUT if you're google-wise you can um 'find' them. :)
