Dear lord dude...did you ever take a second and wonder why Arizona is not doing good this year? Maybe injuries have devastated their offense?...You think you might want to take into account what you have seen the man do over many years, instead of just this year? Rich Rod is a really good offensive coach.

K. Never said otherwise.

So is the actual game. I see nothing good about our team except Hubbs and Bone. But we are young and Barnes needs 7 years to turn things around.

Expectations should not be very high.

Look for a tough team that battles to get above .500

I believe if he did get fire it wouldn't be over not hiring a OC. It would be because we had a really bad year and even then I am not so sure he would get fire fired in 2017. Say he doesn't hire an oc and goes 10 -2, you think he gets fired? I don't. Got to be more than because he didn't hire an OC like most of us like for him to.

I think he's saying that it's unlikely the offensive staff, as it stands now, is good enough to perform at a level in 2017 that would keep Butch's job safe.

I'm still not sure if I agree or disagree on that, but I lean towards agree. The development of our offense has stagnated. Need some new blood to perform up to par.

Going to the son's preseason B ball game and watching the Vols in between games. Gave my tickets to a family of 4 who had never been to Neyland before. Kids are 12 and 8 and a month before they had driven by Neyland and the kids asked their dad if they would ever be able to go to a game there. Their dad said one day they would. When he came by to get the tickets this morning, he said when he told them it was like Christmas morning. Guys, I feel really good right now. B ball with son and Vols on TV in the afternoon and then more B ball. Making other kids happy with first game ever at Neyland with their dad. Good stuff.

Excellent!! Nicely done!

Just got a bad feeling that DeBord is still the guy next season. New GA becomes the QB coach, since Sheridan is out of time, I think.

Sheridan is not a GA. He is a quality control assistant. I believe he will be our QB coach soon or someone else will hire him in that position.

Supposedly Hart has completely handcuffed Barnes on the recruiting trail and is forcing him to recruit cleanly to avoid any more embarrassment for the program. There will be enough bad losses to take care of that, however.

Who is saying this?

Been mentioned several times on 247 and VQ by various posters.

Just looking at the kids we are in the mix with is pretty compelling proof too. Just don't think this staff is working with the same resources as other staffs around the country.

Barnes goes from being known as a great recruiter at Texas to recruiting very poorly as soon as he comes to Tennessee when he has a ton of early playing time to sell. Just doesn't add up unless he's out on the trail with one hand tied behind his back.

Or maybe he just doesn't have the same energy and drive and is truly coasting into retirement.

Dang I just realised since the season started we are averaging 1 season ending injury/dismissal/transfer per game lol

Random question......If we win out and win the east and pull off a miracle and beat Bama in the SEC championship game, which bowl game do you think we would go to?
