He had 8 pass defends at LB with 1 pick. Could have had another 2. Dropped a pick 6 vs UF. He's a NFL Mike not Sam or Will.

The following is speculation... but from everything I've read, Shoop is the best thing that could have happened to Ell Berry as far as his chances of being a part of the defense. Ell is basically tailor-made for that STAR position (athletic playmaking S/LB hybrid).

But so are several others on the roster. McDowell, Sapp, maybe Griffin... he'll have competition. But at least he has a path, and with Jancek I really don't think he had a position.

Ragland took over for Mosley. Reason most play Will before they take over at Mike for Bama.. Kid is talented and will be a high NFL pick barring injury or some felony charges.

Our defense down the stretch was stifling last year. Granted the opposition generally wasn't great, but we pretty much shut everyone down after the Georgia game (and even in that game, Georgia had a flukey special teams and defensive score).

Both listed at 6'1. Please Google Marlon Humperies track. Kid won the the 110 and 400M Hurdles at World Games. Has anchored the 4x100 Relay team since his Fr Year. They broke the SEC indoor record this past season of UF Jeff Demps squad.

Kid looks 5'11.75" on TV. Justin looks a legit 6'1".

Top 10 at least, IMO. And we went 8-4 last year with a bowl win making us 9-4. And if you ask me they are giving TAMU the benefit of a doubt with Chavis as their DC and their one DE. But, I do not mind proving others wrong in this area. Like another person stated...let them underestimate.
