Driving around today and they had a guest host on Finebaum. A negavol called in. First he blasted Dobbs on his ability, then he blasted our OC on his game plans then he double blasted Butch with a game management and cliché jab that alos touched on Butch failing to acknowledge what big games UA and UF are this year....lol

Still trying to figure out if it was Natondom, Vol30, Eastside, Bruin or Catbone that made the call:p

Not guilty

If there was no mention of recruiting, probably none of them.

You sure he was a Vols fan? A lot of callers from TN seem to be UGA and Bama fans.

It's not just for derailed threads anymore!

You can put that away until next off season bro. Football is here the sky stopped falling temporarily.

I PLEAD THE 5th! :)

I'm not a NegaVol anymore. From a 1-10 scale (1 being Catbone and 10 being Ron Swanson) I am now a 5. Cautiously optimistic!

Well there was no mention of recruiting tactics, so we know it wasn't Leb.

Yeah, Bates has been injury-prone. He suffered a torn labrum at the start of his FR season and took a medical RS. His rehab was slow after surgery, then he had nagging shoulder issues last fall and reinjured his shoulder this spring. He missed spring practice and the O&W game and was just cleared to practice this summer. He's had one tough break after another.

Wow! I wasn't aware he had suffered from that many injuries. No wonder he's not been on the field much. I thought he was just underperforming in practice & Butch was just not allowing him to play much.

Didn't know it was because of so many injuries. Let's hope he can stay healthy in 2016. Thanks for the update on him.

Yeah. Most people on here haven't been saying they were disappointed in Dillon as much as they have been saying they are disappointed in his situation.

I'm sure there are probably a few of the dredges who have twisted it into something ugly though.

I've actually seen quite a few that have ditched on Dillon & not his injury situation. I myself didn't know he had been injured so much but I didn't ditch on him because he wasn't on the field playing. I really assumed he just hadn't came around yet for us to break the depth chart. Thanks!

I really think there may be a little truth to this. I'm sure he hasn't come around completely (IMO at least). It's harder to understand the X's and O's of the playbook if you don't really get the chance to put them into practice. I'm hoping he can stay injury free and find a spot to help out on the team. Problem for him now is that his teammates that he is competing with have moved on to the next level and he is having to play catch up.

Agree 100%. I mean he's a 4* prospect. It's got to show up sometime if he can stay healthy that is. Hopefully that skillset of a 4* LB will show up in 2016.

Dillon's a great kid from a great family. I'd love to see him and Elliott Berry stay healthy and get in the rotation this year... or at least make their mark on special teams.

Elliot Berry was another player that I had forgotten about. He hasn't played much if any yet either has he? Is it because of injuries too or just not catching onto things in the Butch system?

He's had limited PT in a lot of games-- at LB, but mostly special teams. Had a season-ending knee injury last year and surgery post-season. He's ready to play-- just needs a position. I'm guessing we'll continue to use him on ST. I was hoping Elliott or Evan could add depth at RB or TE, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards.

If they can make a mark on ST, I'd be more than happy with that. I just want them healthy and playing.
