If we beat Florida and Georgia these next two games, we're in the driver's seat to win the east. At least our questions and worries will be answered within less than 2 weeks now.

It is very strange. The offense should be a strength. Scoring at will with misdirection.

I think at times our coaches open up and then go tight.

Even today the first two drives the offense was open going over the middle and edge. It worked. But then we called
It off and struggled.

I think the coaches are trying too hard to be smart. They just need to play ball. I hate watching these other teams just playing loose and open all game.

We try control the game instead of winning it.

Spot on. Butch is the most uptight coach I've ever seen. Maybe besides Muschamp.

I agree with you. In all reality, we should have crushed 2 of 3 teams we've played already. App State & Ohio we should have put a beatdown on them both. Instead, we beat VT worse than either one of them. Something isn't right with this coaching staff for sure although they aren't all to blame.

We all agree SpringBokVol. It is mind numbing why the coaches get something going and then oh we can't have that and go back to super conservative. Butch is so damn afraid of making mistakes and coaches tighter than any coach I have ever seen. I wish he would shred his damn analytic charts. And the players follow suit- there is no question this team would play so much better if they could be loose and just have fun. Does Butch see his deficiencies or is he too stubborn and thinks his system is infallible?

Alright I had a while to calm down. Here's my thoughts on today:

Jogging to see if he could come back in....to.....out rest of the season seems like a stretch. Hope that's not accurate.

I think the bolded is on point. I have no idea why they don't open the playbook. Whenever they do, it works.

I've still got a wild hope that they're hiding stuff for SEC play, even though I know that's naive and stupid. But nothing else makes any sense. The OL isn't THAT bad... There's enough time to attack the seams and flats, and those areas are always open when teams put 8 in the box to stop the run.
