Watching press conference; Butch is right about the fact that this year, Tennessee was targeted by teams to play their best. We got a lot of hype this year, and we were ranked much of the time.

I also think the SEC is beating up on each other and we are a strong conference.. I'm interested to see how we do in the bowl season.

Butch: "There may be some alterations” to this season’s bowl prep. We had a very, very physical football practice yesterday.

Butch: We've had way too many turnovers this year and we need to force more and we have to be more physical on both sides.

. @UTCoachJones: We actually have an open position. We're allowed 5, have had 4. There will be an addition to S&C program. (Rock Gullickson)

Interesting take from Butch. He implied that some of the physicality issues relate to the fact that some players have had to play immediately and, as such, miss out on the strength and growth that would normally take place during a redshirt year. Uses Chance Hall as an example.

Ok are the ones that need that year of lifting without having to worry about playing. Essentially 2 more lifts a week

We got to redshirt a few this year. Hopefully going forward they all do unless they dominate in practice.

Someone did ask a question after that that was inaudible. They may have asked about Berry. I'm pretty sure even before our last couple games they said Berry was done for the year.

Yeah, I didn't know if it was about him or someone else. Whoever it was, Butch said they wouldn't play.

I'm liking he admitted, in his own way, that the little contact practices weren't helping them in their physicality
