All this does is show how injuries affect a team. Scarborough going down was the biggest factor of the night.

I respectfully disagree. It was a factor, but a bigger factor was the fact that Bama's defense was gassed and gave up 21 points in the fourth quarter. Watson was a warrior and Williams is the best receiver in CFB.

Today's recap from Hubbs...

"Butch Jones and the offensive coaches did interview Kevin O'Connell on Monday. O'Connell was actually born in Knoxville, but played graduated high school in California and played at San Diego State. He was the quarterbacks coach with the Cleveland Browns and spent this season on the 49ers staff working on special offensive projects.

That's three interviews that Jones has done with Chris Weinke, Mike Canalas and now O'Connell.

We think that Jones will interview another candidate middle of the week.

On Tuesday, Jones will visit with former NFL receiver Wes Welker. Welker has expressed an interest in getting into coaching and is going to talk to Jones about a quality control position from what we have been told. Now, Welker could end up somewhere with a full time position, but he's talking to Jones about getting into coaching and a quality control position. Again, those conversations are expected to take place on Tuesday as Welker drives over from Nashville where he's been at the coaches convention. He is rumored to be in play at West Virginia for a full time gig which would obviously trump a QC spot.

Speaking of the coaches convention, Zach Azzanni was there on Sunday but returned to Knoxville on Monday we are told. Don Mahoney, and Willie Martinez have both been at the convention in Nashville.

It's been indicated to us that Rock Gullickson is in town and is starting to get things set up. He should be formally announced in the next day or two, but we believe he has been in Knoxville."

Hope we can get Welker!

Soooo Saban the DB guru doesn't teach his DBs how to strip the hands of a WR who's big as hell I see. Martinez must have been coaching them up. Yeah that's it 😂😂😂😂😂

Considering Bama has kicked our butts for a decade and has more championships than we have winning seasons lately he must be doing something right. Players play better than ours

Defense blew it tonight. 😎😎😎😎😎

Particularly that secondary.....

#28 should've had around 6 PIs easily. They were obvious like he did in our game.

I can't express the joy of watching Bama lose. Unfortunately they will be in the exact position to win it all next year too because the SEC's other 13 teams just plain suck.
