Exactly. However, Watson has been the #1 QB for two seasons. He lifted the team on his shoulders on O as well as emotionally overall. They knew as long as they had #4 they could win every game.

I'm not much of a Dabo fan, but I love how he responded to Colin Cowherds criticism when he called Clemson a fraud before the NC game:

"At the end of the day, we left no doubt tonight. You know, we wanted to play Alabama because now y’all got to change your stories, you got to change the narrative. Y’all got to mix it up. The guy that called us a fraud, ask Alabama if we’re a fraud. Was the name Colin Cowherd? I never met him, don’t know him. Ask Alabama if we’re a fraud. Ask Ohio State if we’re a fraud. Ask Oklahoma if we’re a fraud. The only fraud is that guy, ’cause he didn’t do his homework. I hope y’all print that.”

This is to answer why I wanted the Bammers to lose. Because they are the bully in the SEC and the judges/bosses always bend the rules for them instead of being fair to all. It was good to see an equal amount of jabs back at them last night by the officials. Also, Clemson recruiting up to this past class has been like ours. That lets us know we can still win it all with the right coaching as well as be able to improve our recruiting by winning more.

As it sits now, we do not beat out either of those programs for 5 stars that are not orange blooded Vols at heart. To compete with them on recruiting we need to win and our coaching staff needs to develop our roster better. We are excited because the coaching roster may be turning over for the better, hopefully, and we may have our own Watson starting next season.

Liked that too! Hopefully Butch will be able to say something similar after the 2017 season.

Guarantano will be great for us like Watson was for Clemson. He will win a National Championship before he's done! I'm calling it now. Butchbis upgrading the staff in a big way, JG will live up to the hype, and before he goes to the NFL he will get it done!

JJ will be our Mike's Williams and when Butch gets Thompson, he'll be our better version of Renfroe!

Also not much of a Dabo fan, but a big heck yeah to him for calling out Cowherd. Too often these media types say/publish their opinions as fact...whether in sports, politics, or whatever. And what is sad is that too many people take their word as gospel. Glad Dabo served him with a big, fat helping of stfu! Now if only more people would do the same with other media types.

BTW - Cowherd is an idiot.

They struggled late but their offense didn't put any drives together. 90 plays on defense.

Clemson QB has all the confidence to throw into tight windows, and trust his WRs and it showed.

Bama used to playing timid QBS who only throw to wide open guys.

Loved it and loved Clemson's aggressive defense who MADE bama play to their weakness, the throw game

I think Byrd and Buccanon could be a nice combo at corner with some improved coaching.

Cowherd is up there with Bayless, IMO. Can't stand listening to him talk about stuff he has no clue about.
