They are still loaded next year. They return 4 of the OL, most of their WR's (they played in the Championship last year without Williams and all those guys are back), they have Feaster waiting for his chance at RB. They are loaded at QB with Bryant, Cooper and now Johnson.

7 starters back on the defense. They will be right up there again next year. They have 5*s like Tre Lamar that haven't played yet.

youre only looking at seniors. at best 7 starters on defense with at most only 4 starters returning as 3 are juniors. One of those guaranteed four is the undeniable emotional leader.

with offense they lose QB1, RB1, WR1 and maybe WR2, TE1, C and possibly a G. No QB on their roster has experience.

Not saying they won't be good. Just saying it's possible that all those new faces could underwhelm.

Yeah Clemson will definitely be a little down next year compared to the last couple.

FSU will be the heavy favorite in the ACC next year, Louisville should be pretty good as well.

That won't matter to Colin. He will mock Clemson every chance he gets. He gets a national microphone every week day and then some. He can control that narrative better than Dabo with local media since Clemson isn't a national brand. Just seems worthless for the 1 day diss. jmo though

Fair point. If I was Dabo though, I wouldn't have changed a thing from what he said. In the end, recruits aren't going to listen to Cowherd and the administration at Clemson sure dont care what Colin has to say, so he can't really control any narrative with Dabos job or team that will have any impact.

Rock walking into the weight room like: "Finally, the Rock, has been hired in Knoxville!!!!"

Gullickson Named Director of Strength & Conditioning - University of Tennessee Official Athletic Site

If "us" is TN, QB is far from the only question mark for next years team. our secondary has problems, and we will miss Barnett more than people expect. I think the Malone departure will also hurt the Offense next year. The roster is an 8-4 team next year with TN's schedule.

I disagree. We played the meat of our roster without several of our key players on defense. If healthy, we should improve on defense overall. Sure, Malone is a loss, but Malone is an individual. Given the roster, I don't see why we can't make up for the loss of his production by committee. More guys can make an impact, especially if we have a QB that has more ability with his arm compared to Dobbs who had to be able to run in order to elevate his game. The South Carolina game is a prime example of that. JMO.

I think you all are confused........we didn't hire Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as our Strength and Conditioning coach. We hired Rock Gullickson a completely different person.

I think the refs called a pretty good game overall. But Clemson's pick play for a score was the most blatant pick that wasn't called that I've ever seen.

So was Tony Browns targeting on Mike Williams. So was OJ Howard's blatant tackle of a defender on Scarborough's touchdown run. So was a couple of Foster's targeting no calls as well
