No, I absolutely did not mean to quote Bruin. My apologies to the board.

And thanks, she's a happy, healthy and rambunctious 2 year old little girl now...and a ham :) Here she is driving her sister around a few weeks ago at a friend's house

Great to see this picture and read this post. Still very happy for you and your family.

Edit: for the record, I meant the picture of Ashley and her sister ☺️

Starting to wonder if Tennessee has enough quality depth on the defensive line. A couple of injuries to that group could be detrimental IMO. Don't have a lot of faith in Alexis Johnson. Still thinking 8-4.

What team in the East had as much talent in their top 8 DLs as TN
What team in the East could handle a rash of injuries at DE or DT?

Check out Grayton Beach...much less crowded than Destin. But same beach and close to all the fun stuff too. Just East of Santa Rosa...

When I say Destin, it's pretty much that entire corridor all the way to 30A. I've been going there as long as I've been alive. I WILL retire there one day. I'll be there one month from today for a week. :)

Just watched the piece on Football Saturdays about Mark Richt, and putting football to the side, he is a good man. I've had the pleasure to meet him several times and he was always very nice.

This piece about him shows his relationship with God and talked about what kind of person he is on the field as well as off the field. He's a great ambassador for college football.

Dobbs was frustrating at times. His tendency to over throw wide open receivers was infuriating. He left points off the board every time he did it too.

What about all the times he made defenders miss in the backfield on what would be sure sacks and then ran/threw for touchdowns?

If you watched Tennessee play the last 3 years you would know the offensive line was terrible and Dobbs would regularly make something out of nothing with his legs and arm. Just look at his accomplishments:

(1) Led Tennessee to a SCHOOL RECORD for points scored in a season last year.
(2) Broke Peyton Manning's SCHOOL RECORD for TDs in a season last year with 40 total TDs.
(3) Finished less than 10 yards short of breaking Peyton Manning's SCHOOL RECORD for total yards in a season.
(4) Finished 2nd all-time in school history for TDs in a career (behind Peyton Manning).
(5) Finished 3rd all-time in school history for total yards in a career (behind Peyton Manning and Eric Ainge).

With regard to the total yards and total TDs, Dobbs career averages for yards and TDs per game are higher than Peyton Manning. The only reason Dobbs isn't #1 on both those lists is because he played less games in his career than Peyton.

All in all, Dobbs did a lot more good than bad. When will you haters finally give him his due?

New starting QB gets the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise, in my book.

Fully expect QD to roll first, and keep going but if not, no tears shed if JG runs off with it

Best man... period

I've always thought Mark was genuinely a good guy. Georgia probably should have stuck with him. Hope he does well at Miami.

What makes them a good team this year?

They've been elite on defense for a while but won't be this season.

It's hilarious how people are projecting Florida to be a good to great team this year when they have just as many question marks as we do with arguably less talent across the board. But Florida will compete for the East while UT will struggle to be 3rd or 4th in the East. There is no reason we shouldn't start our regular season on September 4th in Atlanta and start our post-season on December 2nd in Atlanta as well. :matrix:

Florida wins the division, so it's easier to pick them, even if all other things are equal.
