From Vq,
" Shaq Wiggins has made an early impression. He's very confident and personality-wise, he seems to be a good fit with the team particularly with the secondary. Again, they are basically a week into the off-season program, so the reviews of the newcomers are a little premature right now."
Lane Kiffin's brief tenure as Tennessee's football coach ended seven years ago, but he continues to cross paths with the Vols.
After competing with Tennessee coach Butch Jones' staff over the past few years at Alabama, Kiffin was complimentary of Jones in an interview with Saturday Down South, saying that Jones "has done a great job there."
"I think Coach [Butch Jones] has done a great job there," Kiffin told Saturday Down South. "They really have had some tough breaks down the stretch. They started out really fast with some big wins and it seems like they are right there and need one break to get it done. … Injuries take their toll, especially as the season keeps going on. It’s a tough sport and that’s why it’s one of the hardest sports to maintain winning because of that factor and so many variables."
Rising sophomore defensive end Andy Boykin of Troup County High School in LaGrange, Ga., posted Thursday night on his Twitter account that he received a scholarship offer from Tennessee.
"Blessed to receive an offer from Tennessee today," he tweeted.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Boykin holds early offers from more than a half-dozen schools, including Georgia, Kentucky, Syracuse, Troy and Florida Atlantic.
He's expected to be one of the top prospects from the state of Georgia in the 2020 class.

Also noted he is an Air Force brat, and thus no one should expect him to stay in-state. He wants to visit for a game, but if he can't make a home game, he will try to see us play away closer to where he lives.
I think they find a way to fit 14 more into this class. Given they like who they have and are able to hold on to them, here's my realistic wishlist for how I'd like to see us finish...
1. Greg Emerson
2. D'Andre Litaker
3. Jaycee Horn
4. Jerome Carvin
5. Dorian Gerald
6. Azeez Ojulari
7. Master Teague
8. Lyn-J Dixon
9. The biggest, fastest, best WR we can get.
10. James Mitchell
11. Jordan Miner
12. Cam Jones
13. Xavier Peters (if he's a qualifier, if not, then the biggest, fastest, best LB we can get)
14. Jaylon King
* Jordan Davis would move into top 5 if he were to make a couple visits to Knoxville.
Assuming no one gets a bump and Jeshaun Jones for the WR position, this class would be good for 251 points on 247, which is good for 9th in 2017 class. The point totals will drop slightly, but not noticeably, since the 25 max rule is now in effect.

Yes, yes they can. There is also the "If Butch loses to Ga Tech right out of the gate" poll. LOL. However even that might be better than the Lebron vs MJ (of course it's MJ) discussions going on in here lately.
