So I never realized this but heard it recently on the radio. The NBA now gets 25% of all playoff game revenue (used to be higher). That money is thrown into the overall pot and helps determine future salary caps. This year is slated to have the fewest number of playoff games since all series became a 7 game series. Therefore, the salary cap could decrease by a $1 million next year, which cuts into player salaries. That means the overall goal of the league and players should always be long series so as to grow the cap. Now you begin to see why the NBA is run like it is.

Kyrie Irving won the game tonight. 40 points. All those critical shots to stop the Warriors runs.

MJ never had a player as dominate offensively like Kyrie beside him. Yet another reason LeBron has no excuse for losing this series. He's got the 3rd best player in this series if we agree that KD and LeBron are 1 and 2.

Kyrie Irving was simply amazing for the second straight game.

The only issue is that the Warriors have the 2, 4,5,6,7 and 8th best players.

Gonna take more than two great players to beat the Warriors. LeBron is still the best player in the world and he proved it again last night with yet another triple double. The Warriors just have too much firepower, plain and simple. Without an all time shooting night for the Cavs this would have been a sweep. Just because LeBron has Kyrie doesn't mean they should win the series. The Warriors have the last 3 MVP's on their team with an incredible bench that goes 10 deep. Put Jordan in his prime on this Cavs team and I can just about guarantee you he's not beating the Warriors either.

Last year Golden State started off whipping Cleveland's arse and then magically the Cavaliers came alive and ended up winning... fast forward to this year-- Golden State has been whipping Cleveland's arse and all of a sudden Cleveland is coming alive.... care to wager who ends up winning?
Penguins whip Preds first two games

Magically Penguins then tear Preds a new one ...

Same players on same teams, same level of talent....

$$$$$ these championship finals are all fixed to maximize revenue....

cavs shot 22 free throws in the 1st quarter haha. They just had that NBA ref who went to prison on the radio and he pretty much said they come in and tell you to try and keep it close or to do this/that before each game. At this point i dont think that guy has any reason to lie. Its not likes he getting his job back lol. NBA wasnt trying to leave all that revenue on the table.

Yep. That triple double LJ put up didn't help at all. I think it's pretty obvious that both need to play great for Cleveland to have any chance.
