The refs sucked last night, but they still didn't impact the outcome of the game that much. Refs can only really impact those games that are decided by a few plays. Ref quality across all sports has really dropped the past couple of years in conjunction with the sports trying to protect the athletes more. Though there is no doubt that the NBA wants the series to go 7-games, it is much more logical to say the refs just had a bad night then to say they tried to influence the outcome.

Then on the player front, do you realize how much more difficult it would be to try and lose while making it look like you are trying than to just play?

Got to remember to apply Occum's Razor friends.

ell oh ell. You're young and idealistic, good for you!

Michael Jordan and LeBron James in the Finals:

MJ played 9 Hall of Famers
LeBron... 26

From FS1. This goes back to a topic I brought up a while ago. Lebron has faced much better players and teams than MJ ever did and still doesn't get credit. I'm not sure we will ever see another athlete as great as lebron that receives so much unwarranted criticism

Maybe if he didn't act like such a b he wouldn't get so much flack.

Also, that is a meaningless stat.

Gonna take more than two great players to beat the Warriors. LeBron is still the best player in the world and he proved it again last night with yet another triple double. The Warriors just have too much firepower, plain and simple. Without an all time shooting night for the Cavs this would have been a sweep. Just because LeBron has Kyrie doesn't mean they should win the series. The Warriors have the last 3 MVP's on their team with an incredible bench that goes 10 deep. Put Jordan in his prime on this Cavs team and I can just about guarantee you he's not beating the Warriors either.

Actually he would because the series would be 2-2 right now.

Jordan would not have choked at the end of game 3 like LeBron did. He would not have run away from the clutch moments either.

The only issue is that the Warriors have the 2, 4,5,6,7 and 8th best players.

So you're gonna pretend that Kevin Love isn't out playing Draymond Green by a significant margin. Go look up the numbers.

Kyrie Irving is dominating his matchup with Steph Curry once again. Kevin Love is winning his matchup with Draymond Green. The only guy who isn't winning his matchup right now is LeBron James who has been outplayed by Kevin Durant through 4 games.

If LeBron didn't choke at the end of game 3, it would be a 2-2 series right now headed back to Oakland and we would be saying it's anybody series.

Don't compare LeBron James to Michael Jordan. The choke job at the end of game sealed that conversation.

What's with all the NBA talk?!?!?! Only football!!!!!

Yep. That triple double LJ put up didn't help at all. I think it's pretty obvious that both need to play great for Cleveland to have any chance.

LeBron James can get a triple double anytime he wants. We just witnessed Russell Westbrook average a triple double for a season. Who cares about that?

The point of having a great player on your team is having them make great plays at critical moments. And last night, whenever the Warriors tried to make a run to cut the lead down to single digits, it was Kyrie Irving hitting an incredible shot and shutting down their momentum.

Kyrie Irving was the best player on the court last night. Forget the stat sheet and triple doubles.

My man, D4H. What are your thoughts on Master Teague camping at OSU? And which team Teague, ends up committing and signing with?

Seriously. I don't care where Darren Williams was drafted. Golden State has a much better roster and it is incredibly stupid to argue otherwise.

Just to clarify, I'm not calling poster stupid. Just the notion that some are trying to make.

And yet the Cavaliers have the highest payroll in the NBA. So according to salaries, the best roster in the NBA belongs to the Cavs.

Stop acting like Kevin Love was not a 26ppg/13rpg player before he got to Cleveland. There was a time a Kevin Love/Klay Thompson trade was being discussed when Love was in Minnesota and the Timberwolves declined because they thought they had the better player and wanted more value.

We can all see how great Kyrie Irving is right now. For the second consecutive finals he's outplaying Steph Curry who is a back to back MVP.

Honestly LeBron has no excuse getting beat by the Warriors. He has the highest payroll in the NBA and 2 other all-stars beside him who are currently beating their all-star matchup on the otherside.

The only person currently getting outscored by his matchup on the Warriors is LeBron James. Kevin Durant is outscoring LeBron through 4 games compared to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love outscoring their matchup with Steph Curry and Draymond Green.

I've never heard anyone say they love Draymond. One of the most hated players in the league by fans and players alike.

I love Draymond Green. He's my favorite player in this series. I love his authenticity and passion for the game. He also seems like a great person off the court.

Huge fan of Draymond.

Just because their payroll is higher doesn't mean they have a better roster. Warriors roster is better. They've got 4 top 15 players compared to the Cavs three.

Ok. I agree with that. But who has the #1 player? Who has the guy that some are saying is better than Jordan? Shouldn't that be enough to sway a slight disadvantage in overall talent?

We just witnessed the Cavaliers blow out the Warriors in game 4. We also saw them outplay the Warriors in game 3 before a last minute collapse.

This gap in talent between the teams is overstated. The series should be 2-2 right now if not for the choke job by LeBron at the end of game 3. That loss is on him. And if they lose the series in 5, it will be because he couldn't close the deal in game 3 when they had the lead for nearly the entire 4th quarter.

1. Who is "people"?

2. This gif isn't even from this year, bass. That's why no one is talking about it.

Sorry, sports radio. Really it isn't even lebron, it's watching him and basically every other athlete celebrate when they do something good. But several people on sports radio after that game were saying that Steph was classless. I'm really not sure why there seems to be a dislike of Steph by some in the media, but especially current and former basketball players
