The refs sucked last night, but they still didn't impact the outcome of the game that much. Refs can only really impact those games that are decided by a few plays. Ref quality across all sports has really dropped the past couple of years in conjunction with the sports trying to protect the athletes more. Though there is no doubt that the NBA wants the series to go 7-games, it is much more logical to say the refs just had a bad night then to say they tried to influence the outcome.
Then on the player front, do you realize how much more difficult it would be to try and lose while making it look like you are trying than to just play?
Got to remember to apply Occum's Razor friends.
Michael Jordan and LeBron James in the Finals:
MJ played 9 Hall of Famers
LeBron... 26
From FS1. This goes back to a topic I brought up a while ago. Lebron has faced much better players and teams than MJ ever did and still doesn't get credit. I'm not sure we will ever see another athlete as great as lebron that receives so much unwarranted criticism
Gonna take more than two great players to beat the Warriors. LeBron is still the best player in the world and he proved it again last night with yet another triple double. The Warriors just have too much firepower, plain and simple. Without an all time shooting night for the Cavs this would have been a sweep. Just because LeBron has Kyrie doesn't mean they should win the series. The Warriors have the last 3 MVP's on their team with an incredible bench that goes 10 deep. Put Jordan in his prime on this Cavs team and I can just about guarantee you he's not beating the Warriors either.
The only issue is that the Warriors have the 2, 4,5,6,7 and 8th best players.
Yep. That triple double LJ put up didn't help at all. I think it's pretty obvious that both need to play great for Cleveland to have any chance.
Actually he would because the series would be 2-2 right now.
Jordan would not have choked at the end of game 3 like LeBron did. He would not have run away from the clutch moments either.
Seriously. I don't care where Darren Williams was drafted. Golden State has a much better roster and it is incredibly stupid to argue otherwise.
Just to clarify, I'm not calling poster stupid. Just the notion that some are trying to make.
I've never heard anyone say they love Draymond. One of the most hated players in the league by fans and players alike.
Just because their payroll is higher doesn't mean they have a better roster. Warriors roster is better. They've got 4 top 15 players compared to the Cavs three. And yet the Cavaliers have the highest payroll in the NBA. So according to salaries, the best roster in the NBA belongs to the Cavs.
Stop acting like Kevin Love was not a 26ppg/13rpg player before he got to Cleveland. There was a time a Kevin Love/Klay Thompson trade was being discussed when Love was in Minnesota and the Timberwolves declined because they thought they had the better player and wanted more value.
We can all see how great Kyrie Irving is right now. For the second consecutive finals he's outplaying Steph Curry who is a back to back MVP.
Honestly LeBron has no excuse getting beat by the Warriors. He has the highest payroll in the NBA and 2 other all-stars beside him who are currently beating their all-star matchup on the otherside.
The only person currently getting outscored by his matchup on the Warriors is LeBron James. Kevin Durant is outscoring LeBron through 4 games compared to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love outscoring their matchup with Steph Curry and Draymond Green.
Just because their payroll is higher doesn't mean they have a better roster. Warriors roster is better. They've got 4 top 15 players compared to the Cavs three.
1. Who is "people"?
2. This gif isn't even from this year, bass. That's why no one is talking about it.
