Who has the guy that some are saying is better than Jordan?
Literally no one has said this. Also, there was a choke job in Game 3. Every Cav not named LeBron James was responsible. They were +7 when LeBron was on the court. He was on the court for 46 minutes. I'm not sure how much more descriptive you can be regarding his performance in that game.
Put Jordan on the Cavs and its 2-2 series right now with the Cavs having all the momentum.
Kyrie also had a terrible final possession in that game and cost the Cavs a chance to take a quick shot and go 2 for 1 with the Warriors in possessions.
Your comment about Jordan is speculative at best. Watch how this works. If Earl "The Goat" Manigault would have been able to stay out of trouble he would have been the best player to ever play the game. You can't disprove this statement because it is based solely on a hypothetical that has no chance of ever happening.
So you're gonna pretend that Kevin Love isn't out playing Draymond Green by a significant margin. Go look up the numbers.
Kyrie Irving is dominating his matchup with Steph Curry once again. Kevin Love is winning his matchup with Draymond Green. The only guy who isn't winning his matchup right now is LeBron James who has been outplayed by Kevin Durant through 4 games.
If LeBron didn't choke at the end of game 3, it would be a 2-2 series right now headed back to Oakland and we would be saying it's anybody series.
Don't compare LeBron James to Michael Jordan. The choke job at the end of game sealed that conversation.
Ok. I agree with that. But who has the #1 player? Who has the guy that some are saying is better than Jordan? Shouldn't that be enough to sway a slight disadvantage in overall talent?
We just witnessed the Cavaliers blow out the Warriors in game 4. We also saw them outplay the Warriors in game 3 before a last minute collapse.
This gap in talent between the teams is overstated. The series should be 2-2 right now if not for the choke job by LeBron at the end of game 3. That loss is on him. And if they lose the series in 5, it will be because he couldn't close the deal in game 3 when they had the lead for nearly the entire 4th quarter.
And yet the Cavaliers have the highest payroll in the NBA. So according to salaries, the best roster in the NBA belongs to the Cavs.
Stop acting like Kevin Love was not a 26ppg/13rpg player before he got to Cleveland. There was a time a Kevin Love/Klay Thompson trade was being discussed when Love was in Minnesota and the Timberwolves declined because they thought they had the better player and wanted more value.
We can all see how great Kyrie Irving is right now. For the second consecutive finals he's outplaying Steph Curry who is a back to back MVP.
Honestly LeBron has no excuse getting beat by the Warriors. He has the highest payroll in the NBA and 2 other all-stars beside him who are currently beating their all-star matchup on the otherside.
The only person currently getting outscored by his matchup on the Warriors is LeBron James. Kevin Durant is outscoring LeBron through 4 games compared to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love outscoring their matchup with Steph Curry and Draymond Green.
That awful step back 3 that Kyrie took when the Cavs were down one was the daggerIf you want to talk numbers, Kyrie Irving scored 38 points in game 3.
But beyond stats, Cavs were outscored 11-0 in the last 3 minutes of game 3 by the Warriors with LeBron on the floor. And it was LeBron's man Kevin Durant that hit the game winning 3 in LeBron's face.
LeBron James played well for 45 minutes in game 3. But he choked during the critical moments of game 3 while Kevin Durant shined. That is the difference between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Jordan shined in the clutch. He would not have allowed Kevin Durant to steal that game from him.
Put Jordan on the Cavs and its 2-2 series right now with the Cavs having all the momentum.
