I know it's been all Preds and terrible NBA talk around here lately, but if you want to see a real rivalry tonight, watch USA vs Mexico.

I don't care about numbers. Kevin love can't make a contested shot or layup. Hell, he couldn't make a slam dunk after Lebron set him up with the sealer in game 3. Dude can't defend at all. You're crazy if you think Love is half the player Green is.

Then don't talk to me about LeBron James numbers and why he deserves to be mentioned among the best of all-time with a soon to be 3-5 record in the NBA Finals.

Kyrie also had a terrible final possession in that game and cost the Cavs a chance to take a quick shot and go 2 for 1 with the Warriors in possessions.

Your comment about Jordan is speculative at best. Watch how this works. If Earl "The Goat" Manigault would have been able to stay out of trouble he would have been the best player to ever play the game. You can't disprove this statement because it is based solely on a hypothetical that has no chance of ever happening.

If Michael Jordan was on the Cavs, Kyrie Irving doesn't take that shot.

This is another reason why it's ridiculous to mention LeBron in the same breathe as Jordan. Michael never stood in the corner and watched another play on his team try to win the game for him. He always involved in the critical moments whether he took the shot and made it or found Steve Kerr wide open because he was getting doubled.

LeBron James at the end of games just stands in the corner like a role player watching Kyrie Irving go to work. And before you get on Kyrie for missing that shot at the end of game 3. Just remember it was Kyrie that hit the game winning shot in game 7 last year on a very similar play. Kyrie was isolated by himself against Steph Curry while LeBron stood in the corner watching Kyrie win an NBA championship for him.

Green also about a 100x better passer than love.

Before Kevin Love got to Cleveland nobody was saying this about him. He was considered by most the best PF in the NBA and by many a top 5 overall player in the NBA.

Kevin Love averaged 26ppg, 12rpg, and 4 apg in his last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves before he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

This is why I don't but the excuse that LeBron doesn't have enough help. He has a guy beside him in Love that many argued was top 5 before he joined LeBron. And he also has Kyrie who some are arguing is top 5 right now considering he's averaging 30ppg in the NBA Finals and coming off back to back games with 38 and 40 points.

That awful step back 3 that Kyrie took when the Cavs were down one was the dagger

He made the same shot last year in game 7 when he won Cleveland the championship.

At least Kyrie wants to take the last shot in the game. Unlike LeBron who runs away from the pressure at the end of games and forces role players like Kyle Korver to hit big time shots.

Would help with recruiting now

Recruiting is doing well right now actually.

A couple extra years on Butch's contract won't change the fact that he hasn't gotten his teams to take the next step yet.

Selling "I've got 5 years on my contract" vs "I've won a natty and been to multiple playoffs" isn't much of an easier sell than what Butch has currently.

Also, what happens if you extend him and he s****s the bed this fall? Timing just isn't right atm. These things usually happen December-February for a reason.
