the problem isnt just the florida game. lets go back to last years bama game and look at everything since then. dragged by bama, lost to s car, vandy, gave up a million yds to missouri, kentucky, and georgia tech, then the florida debacle. we aint going 10-2 guys. we aint winning the east. 8-4 is the ceiling imo. 6-6 is a possibility. year 5.

I think 9-3 is the ceiling but I certainly agree 6-6 is possible.

USCe in 2013 was huge. The comeback there in 2014 as well. Beating UGA in 2015 and ending Mark Richts career there was big.

UGA will lose to State, Vandy, and Auburn. If we lose to UGA we are out of the running because we wont beat Bama and might lose to Vandy or LSU. I just threw up in my mouth saying that but this is what our beloved football program has been turned into.

This actually frustrates me most- there are fans that believe if they complain loudly enough they will get what they want. I'm half cooler heads prevail. Let's see what he does these next few weeks. We will know by the end of the USCe game what direction we might be headed. We have the talent to be 5-1 and inside the top 20 and Butch has proven he can do at least that. Or we could be 3-3 and if so, they should fire him.

He won't be fired until we are eliminated from east. Not even reasonable to want it, to be honest. I'm with you though. It may seem differently but I am off the Butch train. Just want them to do it normally.

Very well could happen. He won't get a gig that pays this well again, but he should not need the money at this point.

It was originally supposed to be a pass to get them in FG range. When they saw we were in cover two their WR's went deep. Although it wasn't a designed Hail Mary, the play call was terrible. We should have NEVER been in cover 2 there, but we also shouldn't have been in prevent like some think.

What should we have been in? Maybe some kind of soft prevent since they needed somewhere around 25-30 yards to get in FG range?

I get why you want to wait and see. I respect that. I just personally see Butch as unfit for this job. I think he's proven that to everybody now. Circumstances may play out that allow us a chance to win the East this year. That's great. I hope we do. But if we win the East it will be in spite of him imo.

I think Shoop and Scott could rally this team now and and maybe maximize the talent already in place and salvage the recruiting class. If it's true that Shoop is being handcuffed by Butch (which makes sense when looking at his track record) then why waste this season any longer?

As you mention, the East is still up for grabs. The frustrating thing is we all see the talent on this team. We can play with anybody. But we're at a coaching disadvantage every week and it shows itself on the scoreboard.

Either way I think we're looking at a new coach next year. What are we waiting on exactly?

It has been rough since our Hail Mary. 6-5 with 3 very bad losses, with two of those wins against Tennessee Tech and Indiana State. Not good at all.
