3) 3 missed FGs

6) taking a sack in the red zone

7) palmers dropped TD

8) Abernathy poor angle



That's 12 single plays that if went our way we win the game. Are those on coaching?

This is a good post Bruin. Unfortunately, the calls and plays that mattered in winning the game fall directly on the coaches.

I'm not saying the same outcome will happen, JG isn't the runner Dobbs is, we know that. I'm saying it's hard for me to believe the "JG isn't ready talk" when everyone said the same thing about Dobbs in 2014.

I saw the impossible. A perennial SEC West bottom feeder manhandle LSU. State didn't have Dak Prescott to do it either. Before last weekend. State beat LSU 1 time in 20 years. There is only a handful of kids on that team that aren't Mississippi boys. And those are generally leftovers from what Ole Miss, Bama, and LSU don't want. Mullen coached a less talented team to beat a more talented team. The guy is a good coach.

Thanks.

I blame the coaches for allowing QD the freedom to audible on the goal line and I blame all the rest of those mistakes on the players not executing.

Skipped every ******* page of reading just to say this....JFK is the man. Best damn back in the SEC, yet he only gets to play between the ******* 10's!

Bruin be damned. I don't give a sh** about his 15 yd penalty! He ******* gave everything he had on the field. Coach/coaches pi**ed that one away.

This might sound odd but after a few days I think butch firmly believes his players lost the game. (I agree with him). I think that is exactly why he took the blame after the game to take the pressure off them. Little did he know Nearly the entire fanbase is blaming him and giving the players a pass. JMO

IMO we should see more Chandler in 4th quarters,Kelly wears out linebackers and the secondary. Ty has that extra gear and also runs with leverage..we should own 4th quarters.

I agree. I just don't think they'll do anything until people stop showing up and buying tickets.

I texted a booster friend of mind yesterday. Figured he'd be ready to pack up Butch's stuff. He was ready last season, especially when he was shopping himself around. I asked him if he was going to survive the season and his response was "I sure as hell hopped so." Wasn't the reaction I expected.

I think Butch would have to miss a bowl to get fired this year. Financially, there is zero reason to fire him.

The problem is he only had 2 less vs ISU. We need to rest him vs bad teams. And he had a lot less in first half, should have unleashed him early too
