I'd try at least a few names before Mullen...... lol South Alabama whipped his team and he went 6-7 last year! If Chip is interested in coaching again sure gauge his interest in not claiming Gruden like some.

Comparing what Mullen is doing at Ms st on sec west to butch at Tn in east is apples to oranges. No comparison. Mullen would kill it here

Maybe but there records are similar in conference play and riding day's coat tails he's worse. They wanted him fired last year!

The more I calm down the more I feel this loss was more on players not executing.

Yes, there were some bone headed decisions but honestly if the players executed some of the key plays properly then we win going away.

It is what it is.

Hope they all learn.

This week tells me nothing. Just stay healthy.

Play UGA tough and win and you never know what could happen.

Granted players messed up plays. Doesn't that happen in every game? This is squarely on the coaches IMO. The usage of players and play calls featuring specific players at important points in the game is all on the coaches.

Just google Tee Martin right now

Like first three things

"Martin to Tennessee"

Currie ain't hiring Tee Marting if he has a HC opening. It would be his career and legacy on the line. He will have a loaded roster of playmakers and top Recruiting class. Every resource under the sun, Nike, and much more tonwork from in reserves. He will hire a guy with HC experience as he should.

Chip Kelly hates the media and wants no part of SEC especially this place. He likes low key places. It wouldn't suprise to see him show up in the most random spot

Philadelphia is lowkey? Those fans are worse than Vol fans and even more media. He'd come here for enough $$$. I'd rather have someone else but our offense would certainly be fun to watch. Playmakers on this roster would suddenly make plays, IMO.

Ron gets it. If we said no to him we better damn sure have someone better coming in.

It was also a horribly thrown ball in a situation where he was expecting to be led. Tough to adjust in the 1/4 second. Same on the pick 6. Those short passes are very difficult to bring in when they're so far off target and the receiver has a man right in his back expecting to get blasted.. He should have caught it, but he only gets half the blame.

the pass was also thrown with a linebacker in his grill...whatever happened to the old saying "if it hits your hands you should catch it"

Make Chris Peterson and Chip Kelly say no first. Then Stoops, Mullen, Willingham, and Durkin in that order. I don't think Taggart and Fuente are leaving their current positions for anything less than a Peterson or Kelly money, and I'm just not sure either are worth that. Fleck and Brohm are no more proven than Jones was IMO. If we go the coordinator route I call Tee Martin or Venables.

If you take out the Oregon and OU games and replace them with some of Mullen's non conference schedule, we have had a 10 win year and 4 straight bowls. I know Mullen plays in the west, so it evens out. But Arkansas, Auburn, and Ole Miss have also had awful years under Smith, Chizik, and Nutt while he's been there.
