Mullen is barely better than Butch I wouldn't be surprised if they go 8-4. All I saw in their LSU game was LSU is overrated and Orgeron still isn't a good head coach. I'd be fighting mad if I was an LSU fan after that hire. Never won a road conference game!

Put Butch at MS st playing bama, LSU, Ole Miss when freeze was there, tx AM, Arky, And auburn.... you seriously think he does all the same things Mullen has?

I really think Butch will inevitably beat UGA and LSU, save his azz then lose to at least one of UK, SC, Vandy. It's the butch way. Always does just enough to keep you optimistic.

Does this actually happen though? I'm curious? Or do they just set their max price and look for guys that would be under it? I'd hate the latter and I believe that's how it goes.

Even then, I think Durkin, Tee, and Venables would come for what they're paying Jones. I could get pretty fired up about any of those three.

84 is more talented physically, but Calloway will end up being better because he's more intelligent. If CP could understand a playbook he would be unstoppable.

Mullen is barely better than Butch. He has some awful losses. If he's so good why aren't people beating down his door every year? Is it because he went 6-7 last year and hasn't done much without Dak? Lost to South Alabama or am I missing something? I'd take him over Butch but long term he isn't really any better.

Agreed. Based on what I've seen his position group has improved the most over any other compared to last year. Still not where they need to be but they look better than at almost any point under Mahoney.

Hes a different kind of athlete than DR. DR was big and strong. Calloway is smooth, glides across the field, and can jump like a gazelle.
