Michigan scored some of those points after TOs with the short field. They made big plays and we know they have a knack for winning those type games against us. They are favored in the game for a reason.

Bruin, look at the boxscore. Michigan only scored FG's after turnovers and also missed 2 FG's. Their TD's were scored on two 75 yard drives. They ran for 215 yards.

Floridas Defense is definitely worse than years past but it's not bad lol. They allowed 26 points. 12 points were from FG's.

Yes I agree it isn't a dominating Defesne or at least it wasn't against michigan but it still made big plays. Another thing to consider is how many times their awful o put them on the field. If their O stays on the field longer which they will against Shoop their D is going to play solid against us IMO.

When is the last time that we were good when we played at Florida? 2015 was the best, and Florida was still vastly more talented than us, as the draft proves, and most of our guys were freshmen and sophomores. That's the best team that's played at Florida since Fulmer.

I think it's too early to say we are this good, an Florida is this bad. Again, I expect the win. But I'm not chalking it up quite yet, nor will I be surprised to we lay an egg.

Florida gives up 33 in regulation to a pretty bad offense with terrible QB play, they are plenty good.

UT gives up 28 in regulation to an offense that consistently gives teams fits and we need to fire Bob Shoop and our defense is awful.

Interesting indeed.

Bet Michigan's offense ends up higher.

I miss the classic days of VN when people disagreed but weren't so miserable. I have taken the last few offseasons off from VN because it gets so unbearable due to a few posters. Might have to take this season off from VN if it gets worse.

Freak has made an amazing place, and I could never stay away totally.

But lately even the RF is toxic, too. I ask everyone to take a deep breath. Yes, there were tons of negatives Monday night. But enjoy our football team. Enjoy that we get to watch at least 11 more games. It could get worse for the team, and it will suck, but enjoy the journey. And stop hating on each other for goodness sake.

I will do my part and try to tone down the snark and sarcasm.

I don't know but I have heard that dip is fantastic so it must be a big time award.

In some ways yes but we controlled field position with a great kicking game and no TOs while Florida didn't.

Those pick-6's against Michigan have me a little worried...Dormady should have had 2-3 balls intercepted against GT. But, on offense, they are really bad.

But those pick 6s weren't great plays by them, they were gifted to them by WRs tipping balls.

Exactly, which is why I said they should have played Johnson and Picou more earlier in the game. Our DT were essentially just occupying space 3 yards off the LOS from about midway through the 2nd quarter on.

Both were dinged up going into , think that's why they didn't play more..
