But those pick 6s weren't great plays by them, they were gifted to them by WRs tipping balls.
Yes I agree it isn't a dominating Defesne or at least it wasn't against michigan but it still made big plays. Another thing to consider is how many times their awful o put them on the field. If their O stays on the field longer which they will against Shoop their D is going to play solid against us IMO.
The thing about Florida players is that they are the biggest bunch of front runners I've ever seen. If we let them have a couple of dynamic plays early, it's going to be a long day.
But, if we could somehow go out there and punch them in the f*&^ing mouth early, I think we could put a demoralizing beat-down on them.
As many of us are prone to do...I'll plan for the former, and believe the latter when I see it. But a man can dream, can't he?
One was an overthrow I think.
UF defense has definitely taken a step back, but they're much better than GT. They'd have picked a couple of QD throws or injured Callaway on a couple of those where he had to fully extend to rescue a terrible throw. But if QD settles down and improves a reasonable amount, and the OL plays well, we should be ok and score plenty enough to win.
I thought that was one of the worst Florida defenses I've seen in a very long time. Michigan was beating them to the edge over and over. Granted, UF's defense was tired by that point. But they used to be able to withstand long stretches of 3 and outs and quick scoreless possessions by the offense. They could force low-scoring games and win on special teams, a couple of offensive scores generated off 2-3 big plays, and a pick six or clutch turnover.
Lack of depth and bad recruiting is catching up to Mac, like we all said it would.
Was Florida gassed on the 200 yards and 2 touchdown drives they gave up (1negated by phantom call) in first half?
I saw a Michigan team that pulled off the gas when they realized Florida couldn't score offensive points.
Because he couldn't run down Marshall? Because he was completely gassed out in the 4th quarter because he played 90 snaps? Let's see if Franks thinks he's slow next week before were ready to shut him down at DE.
