That makes sense. DT is a hard position to recruit. Imo we are paying right now for not signing any HS DTs a couple years ago. Will be better in a couple years I think but depth is a problem right now.

Wow! Good news for them is another week of rest...bad news is they need game experience for that offense, and I'm wondering if all of the players stay suspended for our game.

They are *supposed* to be suspended until the investigation is over. A lot of Florida fans expect Calloway to be out until October. James Robinson will be back, not sure about the rest. Gardner, the DB who got hurt a UM should be able to play too.

I really enjoy this site, actually I spend too much time on here.

Having said that I agree, it is toxic and I hold Freak to some account on that issue. He allows too much negativity and there is no balance. Everyone is in favor of free speech but if this is a site that is supposed to be place to support UT there should be some balance to all the trolls, even the trolls that are in some fashion UT fans.

I would ask Freak to give us the "not like" or thumbs down button to at least be able to express ourselves when the trolls are running rampant.

One was an overthrow I think.

UF defense has definitely taken a step back, but they're much better than GT. They'd have picked a couple of QD throws or injured Callaway on a couple of those where he had to fully extend to rescue a terrible throw. But if QD settles down and improves a reasonable amount, and the OL plays well, we should be ok and score plenty enough to win.

I think I agree with this but I'm not ready yet to say UFs D is much better than GT. May be, but it's not a given to me. I do think at least 2 of QDs throws would've been picks against a really good D. Hopefully he settles in and gets that fixed. I think the mechanics can be fixed, but the mental part of not staring down receivers and being comfortable/calm enough to step up in the pocket could be a problem.

Latest storm projection shows the eye heading right up the middle of the state. I think it has more to do with traveling than the weather at the actual time of kickoff.

I know all you guys know this by heart but I did the work, updated through GT, so I thought I'd share. We are 17-3 when playing outside the SEC. If we can win 6 SEC games this year we get to 0.500 in SEC play for Butch's tenure. I could go for that.

That 0-8 vs SEC w hurts. I don't want to get rid of the permanent rivalry with them but having bama every year is a tall task right now. Combined with the fact that our rotating opponents always seem to be having a good year when we play them.

Also, I don't see Tennessee vs Florida being played.... Atleast not in Gainesville. A lot of people don't realize just how big the storm is. It's 300 to 400 miles. If you put the Eye in the middle of Florida it would basically cover 80% of the state. 175 substained winds right now, 140/150 winds for Gainesville with much higher gusts. They'll start to feel it Saturday, get the worst part Monday, feel more Tuesday. I just don't see how they can play, unless the storms shifts back east again.

If Kongbo puts up the production Vereen did last year ill be fine with it.

I'm in the minority because I thought Vereen was a liability against the run, and teams always shaded their pass pro to Barnett's side.
