When I was there a buddy bought some marijuana from a sun glass shop owner who had a back room that was full of drugs. A few dealers were walking up and down the public beaches trying to sell all types of stuff.

Hey Newt, couple questions about Cozumel:

Did you book the airline and resort together with a service like Expedia or did you handle each separately?

Did you use the resorts airport pick-up service? I can include it for about $40 each. Seems kind of steep. Could I get a cab for that amount?

Also, as to cost, I can get a Saturday through Friday with airfare included for about $3200 total for both. Does that sound about right?

Edit: that does include the swim up junior suite.

Yeah id book both together through a site, that way your flights match up. Expedia is ok, try cheapcaribbean.com i like it.

Definitely get the resort shuttle to from airport taxi isnt worth the hassle there.

Thats not a bad price but check that site first im jealous man you got me itching to go back!

That's where I got the price. That doesn't include the transport. I guess that's both ways.

Partly because my 4 year old has been clamoring for it for months (based only on commercial appeal, he'd never actually tried it either) and partly based on the hype I've read here on VN, I finally tried Popeye's. I got the surf & turf so I could sample more of what they had to offer. I won't be passing up a Chick-fil-A or Zaxby's to go to Popeye's. And if the KFC has a buffet going on, I don't think I drive past it to go there either.

Both Popeye's and Bojangles chicken is too greasy for me, and I love fried chicken.. could eat it every day. Just not my cup of tea.

Edit.. now I haven't tried their shrimp or other stuff because I wasn't crazy about the chicken. I could be missing the boat on that..
