Tennessee athletic director John Currie doesn’t want to fire Jones, sources have told me.

But Jones hasn’t given Currie reason to keep him. And Saturday’s loss to Kentucky didn’t help.

Maybe attendance for next Saturday’s Southern Miss-Tennessee game at Neyland Stadium will be a factor. Or maybe Currie already has decided Jones’ ship has sailed.

I’ve been trying my best to let things play out and see where they go, but it will be hard for me to support Currie if he doesn’t pull the trigger here. Only if he absolutely knocked the next hire out of the ballpark.

Keeping one of the most incompetent coaches in the NCAA has everyone laughing at us.

If y'all think that Gruden or Kelly would want to work for the morons running this Athletic program... Think again.

And why the heck would an up and comer like Frost want to work for those imbeciles... It's career suicide for him. He'll wait for UF or FSU and really make a name for himself.

Butch is a bad coach and Currie is proving himself to be a really horrible AD.

The heat should be on Currie. He is completely misplaying this. All the goodwill he earned from the Lady Vols switch is evaporating. He must have come to this job as AD completely clueless about what Tennessee’s fan base has been through since he was last here. This is all-time bad and people are completely fed up beyond anything I’ve ever seen.
