I’m starting to feel about the Currie the same way I do when Butch gets us to 1st and goal. The decision is obvious: bring in the heavies and punch it in.

Instead we finesse the ball around the field, take sacks and false start penalties and wind up kicking a 45 yard field goal.

I’m starting to think I’m watching Currie commit similar incomprehensible buffoonery.

Just fire Butch!! It doesn’t require much thought.

I will not watch Saturday if Butch is coach against Southern Miss. I’m wasting time.

I was with my sister a few weeks back and said I wouldn’t watch anymore till Butch was gone. She’s a Clemson fan and made me feel bad by saying she watched Clemson all the time when they were bad. So I’ve been watching.

But now I’ve done some research. Clemson hasn’t been THIS bad since the early 1970s!!!

We are a terrible, terrible football program. Why do we still care so much??

If there is no press conference today, the gears better be grinding for a Monday announcement.

I’m readying the bucket of lightbulbs and mattress as we speak.... I’m making 👀 at that sofa too

I recorded the game with plans to watch it today, but don't think I will. It'll be the first game I haven't watched in so long I can't remember.

Maybe that's the Currie plan. Keep letting Butch string this thing out. That way as the fan base screams "END THIS"!!! a couple more weeks, they will be happy with ANYONE when Butch is fired and he trots out the next lame duck budget hire. All a part of the plan.

That last sentence is the only reason I’m not freaking out over this yet. If he doesn’t pull the trigger I’m hoping it’s just because whatever he’s doing behind the scenes hasn’t line up yet. Still hard though because I can’t take any more Butch ball. I would have fired him already personally.

For real. I took a break for 3 days last week and it was great. I need to take a much longer break.

Heck, if we keep Butch through the end of the season and then make an uninspiring hire then I am completely done.

It’s just not worth the time. The only thing that kept me engaged was the thought that the glory days were a year or two away if we just had stability and recruited well. Butch has proven that’s not true.

I don’t know if we will ever have glory days again to be honest.
