On one of TOS, there is a geographical map that shows each team in the SEC and the section(s) of the country from which they acquired their recruits. You can do the drop down upper left where it says "All Teams" and it will let you select or omit any team in the SEC. What I thought was interesting, and may be to some of you, is that except for Missouri, NO other team in the SEC came into Tennessee and robbed us of recruits we were after. All the high level recruits in TN went to either UT or Vanderbilt. Hopefully, next year we get ALL the high level recruits. Here's the link:

Mods if this is illegal, prohibited, not kosher, frowned upon, or not cool, just kill it.

Trust me brother, this will change and it will change soon! Other universities will begin to invade Tennessee for our highschool players.

Look at the state of this country and the trends and you will see that it is obvious. First of all, the liberal democrats and the unions have pretty much destroyed major cities in the northern part of this country. High taxes, high un employment, etc.

So, the citizens of those states are moving to Tennessee in groves! The jobs are here and the jobs are coming here. V.W., Beretta, Amazon, Dell, etc. etc. The northerners are coming to Tennessee for warmer weather. Better gun rights, Less taxes. More opportunity for jobs. Less crime. etc. etc.

So, when the population continues to boom, more S.E.C. caliber football players will also boom. Between us and Vandy, we can't sign all of them. We don't have enough scholarships available, so other universities will invade and get the one's that we can't sign or the ones that are SEC caliber but for some reason,we don't want.

Nashville and surrounding areas are becoming a talent pool. We really need to tap into Memphis an quit letting the Mississippi schools get them. Dooley didn't even try. I think cbj will change that.

The only impact players that I can recall us getting from the Memphis area were Cedric Wilson, Dan Williams & Johnny Jones.....

Other than that, they went to Arkansas, MSU, Ole Miss, or Alabama.

They have a lot of talent there. It's harder to get them. For one their location is closer to the other schools. For two they seem to be the only city that doesn't grow up with the vols as their team. They actually seem to despise even being in tn.

I hope you're right about all the recruits that are going to be coming out of TN. But I truly hope you are wrong that all the libs are moving here. They destroyed the north, don't want that here.

Well, there is the possibility that the liberals will see the light when they get here.

For instance, I used to drink Budweiser, because I didn't know any better, then when I drank Michelob, I switched.

Well, the liberals in the north are accustomed to life up there and they don't know any other way. Trust me, they will like the tax free Tennessee where they can keep more of their pay check. They will like having one snow day per year, rather than 100 snow days per year, where they have to remove the snow from their cars.
They just don't know it yet.

I am in the military and I meet many people. I have friends who are Chicago, Milwaukee, & even California transplants and they are conservative minded.

Others were liberal minded but their views changed ALOT. One guy in particular is from Lowell, Massachusetts. By having friendly debates with him and showing him that the idealology of the Democrats defies common sense, he has changed..... One debate in particular was about ObamaCare. I asked him that if the government has messed up education and social security, then what makes him think that they can responsibly take care of your health care? He had a blank look on his face and said "Well, if they can't handle education & social security, then why do we want to give them more responsibility?" He finally figured it out.

In many cases, they don't know any better. They were raised as liberal democrats.

That goes back to the Fulmer era. He was smarter than keep going down there. Everybody knew if you go to Memphis have your pocket book ready. Albert Means anyone?

Well, if the liberals are behind improving our recruiting, then call me a liberal.

Amazing how it seems any and every topic here lately turns into politics.
