If we can beat Cal in a convincing fashion, I expect to see the an upswing in recruiting. By the way listening to talk radio here in Houston and they are all saying that Cal will "beat up Tennessee".

Thank God we play the games, or USC, Notre Dame, and Texas would never lose.

Encourage them to keep saying it. Hopefully, Cal will read their own press releases plus the affirming commentaries and take UT lightly.

Cal is being positioned to pull a UT 2005 or an Auburn 2003. If Tedford remembers, he should keep the clippings away from his boys.

 I agree... and won't repeat the support for my agreement since it has begun to annoy you.

Haha, not at all. I just remember opening 3 or 4 threads yesterday to see "Cal had 3 opponents who ate chicken the night before the game and Cal still couldn't beat them" or something like that. :)

On my way home today, they said "Marshawn Lynch will run wild."

dammit he just might. I just hope people in VOLNATION aren't taking this this game lightly, CAL just might be forreal this year. I am hoping we mop the floor with these PAC 10 foes, but this is going to be a tough game. I really have no idea how to call it :cray:

Even without a returning starting linebacker that is a strech against the #2 rushing D from last season. Not saying it isn't possible, just not as likely as they want to make it sound.

Every season there's some hotshot who is predicted to run all over the Tennessee defense and it hardly ever happens.

I would give examples, but it would just take too long. Cal will probably get around 100 yards rushing on us and that won't be enough to win.

Assuming we also handle the other phases of the game well too, I agree... not enough for them to win. I know we had an excellent run D last year, but how is theirs shaping up? I think Arian will likely outshine Marshawn next Saturday.
:good!:
