I see a lot of people read this but not much feedback. Is this the type of post people enjoy and would like to see more often in the future or no?

Freak, I definitely think so. Alot of the info from the article is news to me.

Didnt even know, or have heard about alot of the prospects mentioned.

I understand its March and there's not much football news, so I enjoy reading articles like this one.

seems to be more of an update for other schools. TN looked to be in the lead for one kid on that whole page. I guess it's good to know what's on other kids minds but maybe this is for the better. No more assumption pages that are full of nonsense or rumor threads. Maybe Dooley keeping it quite will work out better..

I found the part dealing with Mack Brown to be pretty telling.....you only get an offer if you commit on the spot. Wonder if he's like that with every recruit??

That's been the M.O. at Texas for a while now. That's why their class is usually done, save for a few really high ranking recruits, a lot earlier than most. Last year it felt like were 90% full by their spring game.

I was really just looking to include kids that have Tennessee on the radar. If we only look at kids Tennessee leads for, there won't be much to write about.

Freak, IMHO this is the perfect way to design a recruiting update post, especially at this junture of the recruiting season.

Right now we don't need the in depth articles on every recruit that we may never even have a chance with in the fall/next winter...we need quick hits of information that can help us keep track of who the Vols are staying in it with.

Great stuff!

I remember seeing someone from ESPN saying how impressive it was that he only "offered" 25 kids and got 25 signees. Thats probably how he does it.

does anybody know how the renovations ( the face of it where they do the vol walk)are coming ???? thanx volnation......
