I personally could care less how they do the rankings on Rivals, Scout, or ESPN. There are some out there that get so upset that this team is 3rd and this team is 4th and how come and get upset. Really I dont think there is ANY difference in the top 5. That being said. I looked at our class one more time and I came across some observations.

1: Defensively we have a lot of playmakers in this class.

2: UT has always been built on speed. Defensively and Offensively. We have never recruited this much speed and this could be the fastest team we have ever had.

3: BJ Coleman was a steal. His stars rose fast and I believe he will redshirt but he will be VERY good.

4: We may have more freshman play this year than in any year I can remember in a long time. Again, I didnt start, I said play.

5: If UT can get 1 or 2 DT that can just plug up the middle (dont even have to be that great at the pass rush), teams will find it impossible to run east and west on us. We have some NASTY linebackers in this class with so much speed.

1) LBs as a whole should be special
2) agree 100%
3) the 2nd coming of Peyton Manning
4) agree 100% and several will start by the end of the year
5) that's a BIG if on finding the DT, the starters dont worry me as much as our razor thin depth

Cutcliffe picked B.J. Coleman to recruit. He said he did not want any of the other QB's.

Coleman is very good. Look at his game tape. He steps up in the pocket to make throws and checks down to second and third recievers.

ya that pic. does look a little GAY. is Coleman really that good?

2 things I love from his prospect videos on rivals:

1. His throws out of the pocket were incredible - especially throws he needed to make across his body. He kept his hips square while moving laterally. Amazing stuff.

2. There is a video with an interview with him and he sounds like a 28 year old veteran. Loves Cutcliffe, Fulmer and most importantly - Tennessee. Sounds very team oriented and knows all he needs to do is get into the hands of the playmakers, and he'll be doing his job.

Ainge, then Crompton, then Coleman. Unreal.
