How many recruits did we have comitted to us last year at this time that actually stuck around to sign with us? Just a question I thought would be fair since most people are hitting panic mode with 8 months till national signing day.

I dont remember us ever having a whole lot of recruits during the summer. Unlike Texas, we actually have to work at recruiting. Good lord everyone quit worrying so much we'll be just fine. The coaches are far more worried about recruiting than any of us because they know it has to be successful for them to keep their jobs. Everyone needs to sit back, roll a fat one and chillax jeez

With the exception of Lance & Chaney everyone else on the staff is starting to make the relationship with the recruits.

panic mode? most threads i have seen sound more like b___h sessions lol

Incorrect, at this point last year we had:

5 for 2010 (5* JUCO Bruce Irvin, 4* Jacques Smith, 4* JC Copeland, 3* Ralph Williams, 3* Jose Jose)
2 for 2011 (5* Anthony Johnson, 3* Eric MacLain)

We were also within a week of receiving 2 other commits for 2010.

We're gonna gradually gain commits from a group of 3 star OL and DL linemen who will eventually grade out as 4 star or better.

Sweet.
